I stopped by to ask for advice regarding a sapphire I recently purchased. John the gemologist was wonderful, and took his time answering my questions. I really appreciated his honesty and kindness. I will definitely return!

I went into Abbott's yesterday as a new collector, I was looking for advise on what to look for when collecting. I did like to collect wheat backed pennies. What I was looking for was advise on what years are best to collect, what were some errors to look for and how to spot them, etc. I brought in a few coins to show what I was interested in.  I was told Andrew was the person to talk to. After a 40 minute drive I arrived excited. Andrew looked over a few of the coins I brought and showed no interest in what I had. Just starting saying what each one was worth, couple cents here couple cents there. I wasn't looking to sell. I was trying to find out is IF what I was collecting was it worth it for me to collect. What to look for when collecting these coins etc. What I got was discouraged. I left there feeling like I should just throw away the trash I have collected and stop collecting coins all together. So if you want to get discouraged out of collecting stop by Abbott's. Let Andrew talk you out of what you thought you liked to do. It is VERY hard to find honest advise out here about collecting coins but after stopping by Abbott's I really think Im not going to collect coins anymore. VERY DISAPPOINTED!! THANKS ABBOTT'S!!!

I have shopped here numerous times here during the last year. I have had great service every time. The staff is knowledgeable and helpful.  They are staffed so that you rarely have to wait for service. A call out for the good service from John and Norman!  I highly recommend Abbotts for all coin and jewelry shopping.

I had a large coin collection I wanted to sell. This is the place to do it.  They were courteous, fair and efficient.  Andrew is the guy to see and he was excellent and truly knows his coins.  I received a fair offer for the collection and was very happy that I came.  I'm certain you will have the same experience.

Absolute best coin shop in town. I live about 30 minutes away and I drive straight past two other coin places and numerous pawn shops to come here. Not only are their products at fantastic prices, they pay more than every other business I've ever dealt with. I can't recommend Abbots more highly. Andrew and John alway take care of me and I look forward to doing business here again.

I was referred to Abbott's by a neighboring store and could not have been more pleased with my experience there. They have an amazing selection of average and high end collectible coins. Andrew provided me with wonderful access to examine coins and paper money I was considering. He and another associate did not get his name were both friendly and took time to show me every piece I requested a closer look at. I am in the area temporarily for work and will definitely stop back in before leaving the Detroit area.

I’ve been coming here for years and I always feel at home every time I come. They not only do a wonderful job selling you silver to begin with. But they’re also excellent to sell to and ALWAYS give you a fair price. When in a lot of cases they could probably get away with paying less. Great place and I highly recommend visiting and doing business with them.
