Ace provided me with the car I was looking for, diesel, automatic at a competitive price. The paperwork is completed in a convenience store with the hire vehicle parked outside. Before accepting the vehicle I always check the bodywork and alloy wheels for damage, which in this case the vehicle had the usual minor scrapes on the bodywork and all the alloy wheels were showing minor scuffs, all of which were duly noted. The front of this vehicle was parked very close to the shop front, effectively stopping me from inspecting for any damage to the front of this vehicle. I did however sweep my hand under the front fairings where I located damage to the plastic fairing. Had the vehicle been parked in a way that permitted a cursory check I would have seen this damage. As would the staff who should have brought it to my attention. I believe this was a deliberate attempt to omit this damaged area from the hand over paperwork, thus having this hirer pick up what would have been an expensive repair bill.
Best value hire I've and a Great service overall. Communication was professional and proficient. * They are Open Sundays! * No hassle and Will Definitely use again and recommend. Deserving of a 5 star rating.
Great service, we hired a 12 seater mini bus for a trip to France and the service was excellent with great communication about the delivery and pick up of the mini bus which was great. The mini bus was in great condition and was very clean and obviously well maintained which is what you want when you are travelling 1800 miles in a week. It was also great value for money and being several hundred pounds cheaper than nearest quote this is a real bonus. I can recommend these guys and will be using them again. Richard Harrison
Brilliant customer service! Really responsive and ready to answer all our questions around hiring during the pandemic! We used a 9 seater minibus to drive to France and the minibus was in excellent condition, clean and reliable. It was really comfortable and we will definitely hire from Ace again. Huge thanks
We hired the mini bus for the second time this year to go to France for 2 weeks. It was dropped off at our door the day before departure. It was immaculate, comfortable and well priced. Great company - excellent communication and no hidden charges - I would highly recommend. They delivered and collected the van which was a bonus. I never knew that booking a mini van to travel from UK to Europe could be such a hassle with the usual rental companies - Ace car & Van Hire came to our rescue. 8 friends looking to travel to Paris for the weekend to attend a concert - we considered flying or Euro star but nothing beats a road trip.

I flew in to Liverpool airport from Milan, with some very tired travellers. The mini bus was waiting for when we arrived, the staff were very helpful and courteous. Ace car hire was the only company we could find who had a 17 seater mini bus that was open on Saturday afternoon. I would recommend them. Thanks guys for some great service
the worst rental company I have ever seen. Scots who hate immigrants. a month ago gave the car for rent and just wanted to take it again to the 24h van and now categorically refuses to give. I do not recommend this company to anyone, they will not go far with such an attitude. and even more, they ruined my move to other house by telling me to give a second time.
Had a great experience from start to finish. All questions answered really quickly. Asked if minibus could actually be delivered earlier than I had originally booked, which would be a big help, and was no problem. Already planning to use company again for next holiday adventure.
