"Ableworld are the largest mobility retailer in the country and believe this is because we genuinely care about our customer’s well-being. We pride ourselves on being an ethical trader who will not pressure sell items and if we feel a product should have an assessment we will not sell these online, as we want to ensure our customers that they are getting the right product for their needs, not just the most expensive mobility aid."

We rented a wheelchair for a family member for the weekend as she had been bed bound since an operation. Chloe was extremely helpful and friendly, over the phone and in person. The rental process was easy, smooth and very affordable £15 !! What a great service to be aware of in our area. I’m very grateful to Chloe for such nice service.
Wasn't that impressed with the customer service. As a younger disabled person I often get this attitude from people; I don't look sick. I'm young, so why am I needing a mobility scooter or disablity aids. And the sad thing is I have the physical ability of an 85 year old, in terrible chronic pain all the time, bedridden 80% of my life - yet for some reason I'm not entitled to the same treatment as an older person who has the same mobility issues. I'm guessing the staff were annoyed that I had come close to closing time to view some mobility scooters but that is no reason to glare at me and make me feel unwelcome. It wasn't terrible don't get me wrong just a bit shirty to me and my carer. As for the scooters they looked great and the shop was sparkling clean.
Went in to look at riser recliner chairs as I'm having a hip replacement soon. After trying all the sofa stores decided to try Ableworld. What a knowledgeable and helpful staff. Got what I wanted and tried it out. Was delivered a couple of days later, I wasn't in but my wife took delivery. The two guys who delivered it she says were so nice and very helpful. This company I found can't be more helpful. Keep up the good work guys, you've got it right . Thanks again.
Very helpful, no pressure sale. Highly recommend.
Popped in to get advice for a wheelchair for my 94 year old mum who reluctantly agreed to get a chair, she was a little nervous. The lady dealing with us couldn't have been more helpful. Gave great advice on what was best for mum, made her feel very much at ease and spent time listening to mums tales. We took home a great chair to use on days out, mum very happy. Thank you so much for your help and patience. Can't recommend these highly enough.
Lovely girl served me and made sure I got what I needed. Liverpool WavertreeHighley recommended
I can’t recommend Able World enough, they have been an absolute pleasure to deal with from start to finish! We recently decided to get married, and due to Mum’s complex care needs, we hired two carers from her nursing home and needed to hire a hoist and a safe, practical and comfortable chair for mum to enjoy our big day both safely and comfortably. After a brief chat with a very helpful lady over the phone, I was provided with contact details for Jayne the Occupational Therapist. Jayne was absolutely superb, with fantastic communication from start to finish and nothing was too much trouble, she really went above and beyond. Jayne arranged for a brand new chair and hoist to be delivered to the venue on Friday and came to collect the items herself at 9.30 am on Sunday morning due to another wedding party arriving at 10.30 am. We couldn’t have asked for anymore and without Jayne, my mum wouldn’t have been able to attend. Mum’s attendance with all of her care needs met made our day extra special! The result of great service is repeat business, and we have hired a stairlift for dad’s home from Ableworld due to this experience. Again the service we received was absolutely top-notch. From the initial consultation with a team member, the engineer visiting the property to measure our stairs and discuss our requirements to the two guys installing the lift, the service and our experience have been outstanding, The engineers are extremely professional and very personable. Overall a great experience from a company that cares! We couldn’t have asked for more.
I've spent many years looking for a shop where I can HANDLE the goods before buying. Aids to help those of us with extra needs DO need to be seen, held and physically assessed by the user to see whether they will be of use to us INDIVIDUALLY. There are so many stores out there, even those dedicated to disability, that hold so very little stock, particularly the smaller items that are so important to our ability to function in day to day tasks. Their catalogues often hold lots of items, but nothing actually in stock, not like my new-found Ableworld! At last I have found a store where I can browse, choose, move on, change my mind, and be assisted in EVERY way possible by the most patient staff. After a couple of breaks to 'sample' the chairs they have on display, and after having a good natter with staff to help me be fully informed about the goods I was buying, I was delighted. There is a disabled toilet available, which really matters to most of us, I think. The gentle, sincere welcome I received was matched by the way the staff packed my items together as I was leaving. They even came and put them in my car for me, despite the bad weather. as they were too difficult for me to handle. I look forward to my next visit. Cathy was faultless and kind in every way, but all staff I spoke with were excellent. Go browse. You may be surprised, at the selection available, too.
We are delighted with this company as they are so honest, very professional and very efficient. We have had a stair lift fitted for my mum and would 100% recommend this company
Very helpful staff, they let you choose what you wanted then came over to help with all the information you required to erect the scooter and ride it. Two very helpful Ladies, thank you.
