We are a countryside pub that serves real ales and home cooked meals.



"Stunning country pub situated in the Brecon Beacons National park. We offer Beautiful home cooked food, we have a great vegan and GF menu. We also offer an amazing Sunday Lunch, all of our steaks, burgers, lamb shanks and Sunday roasts are from the award winning Paddy Sweeneys Butchers in Brecon, there is also a lovely beer garden, with beautiful views. Whether you want to eat with us or just enjoy a drink we look forward to seeing you. We are open for drinks from 10.30 and start serving food at 12pm Monday to Saturday and 12.30 on a Sunday."

Fair play, the food was outstanding! Staff were really friendly and accommodating, the pub has a good variety of food and drinks and is in a great location. Passed it many times but never actually stopped in, not the last time I’ll come here that is for certain!
Managed to get a table here this evening. Very friendly and welcoming and the food just delicious. We were very happy. Although gutted we didn't have any space for dessert.
Went there for lunch with my 2 daughters and granddaughter we all ordered a drink and a main course all the food came out piping hot, except for my granddaughters cheese and ham sandwich it was all plentyful and was very tasty, would definitely go again. There was a bit of a wait, but then it was quite busy being a Saturday.
A great little pub that I like to visit after walking in the Brecon Beacons. Whenever we've eaten there, they have always delivered great tasting food. There's plenty of vegan and vegetarian options on the menu and their prices are more than reasonable! The owners and staff are friendly and always make you feel welcome. It's dog friendly in the bar as well, just in case you want to take your pooch with you.
What a stunning meal we had at lunchtime today! Warm, friendly service, delicious food in great portions - the homemade lemon posset desert was outstanding! We will be back for Sunday lunch!! Vegetarian options: Vegetarian and vegan menu available Parking: Plenty of parking opposite the pub.

Good vegan options. Had the pie and was delicious. Kids had burgers and wolfed them down. Lovely pub, polite staff, good atmos.
This place was so lovely we came back twice while on holiday! Came for lunch and then dinner two days later. They were so accommodating and friendly - lots of vegan and gluten free options for us and my son has a dairy allergy which they were really hot on. Nothing was too much of an ask. Food was also incredible - really good portions and delicious! The curry was phenomenal. Children’s portions were really good sizes too. Great value for money.
We had a family outing. Fourteen of us for lunch, with a variety of main courses. Lovely food, certainly no complaints. Half of us couldn't manage to fit in dessert, but those that did received tasty, well presented sweet dishes. Many thanks for the staff's attentiveness without being on top of us!. Thoroughly enjoyed our meals, and we'll be back! Thank you.
