The cafe at the station is great: friendly staff and good quality snacks and drinks. Staff at the ticket counter are really helpful and professional. Parking is very limited and in short supply. Particularly if arriving after peak time, it might be difficult to find a parking space. There are often taxis waiting at the rank.

Cozy little station with sheltered waiting area on BOTH platforms. Northbound platform has a cafe with a very friendly proprietor who's always interested in talking to you/making you feel welcome. I'm going to counter the guy who said 'no step-free access to southbound platform' and say there is. If you ask at the ticket office, they open the gate and actually HELP you across. So yes, good service.

Normally okay, the café is nice and the ticket machine is okay, but it's not the most practical, the station itself is quite nice.
