Handy car park for Shrewsbury centre without going g right into the town centre itself. It is opposite the Abbey just on the other side of the Great Britain bridge to the town centre so is only 2 minutes walk into the centre. Car park access is good but not that well signed and the car park itself is quite big with parking for longer vehicles like vans and motorhomes with no height restrictions I believe. The charges are very reasonable and takes card certai ly , not sure about cash so check is advisable.
Can't believe I'm rating a car park, but here goes .nThe spaces are adequate in size. There is a height restriction to parts of it .nThere are clean toilets if you're desperate.nIt is a fairly short walk from town , but be aware that you'll approach a steep hill, so the less fit and able would struggle. Consider a different car park in this case.nThe bonus is it's free on Sundays.
Great parking option when approaching from the south. Reasonable charges and free on Sundays and Bhols. Pay by cash, card or App. Public toilets located within car park always clean.
You pay highly for the convenience. There are far cheaper places nearby and not only is walking good for you, but it's a stunningly attractive town in which to walk - spoilt by the fast flowing traffic - probably travelling between car parks!
Large car park you will usually get a space here.the entrance can be easily missed £4.80 max charge and machines will take cards.entrance is opposite the Abbey.
