This take away place is hit and miss. We have had absolutely wonderful food from here, but also not so good food we call them weekend specials. Price is good and the staff are pleasant. Just need a bit more consistency with the food.
Vile food, not a scrap of flavour in sight! Overpriced. I paid almost £9 for bhaji and samosa and received 3 sad, cold in the middle, bite size samosa and 2 incorrectly cooked bhaji that was flat and smaller than the palm of my hand. Rice was wet and overcooked AND they sent the wrong one. Don't waste money ordering here, order somewhere else and get a REAL curry cos what we were sent wasn't a curry as far as I'm concerned. Disgusting.
I haven't been to this takeaway for around 12 months I ordered a takeaway for three people noticed when I arrived management had changed Food was not for human consumption unfortunately it all ended up in the bin and the way things are at the moment I was gutted I work hard for my money I've always said you should pay what a takeaway is worth unfortunately this was worthless
Food is always absolutely amazing. Great flavour. Great portions, always early or on time. I won't go any where else.
I love this place so much. I crave their prawn naga curry; it has a lot of spice whilst still maintaining a depth of flavour. Food is always on time if not early, would highly recommend. They have definitely upped their game and taken their reviews on board.
Disappointed. Lamb Madras sauce was watery and you had to search for the pieces of lamb despite us paying extra for a large. The chicken tikka masala was glow in the dark red, very coconutty, not looking or tasting like any tikka masala we've had before. Won't be going back here unfortunately.
One of the best Indian takeaways in south east London in my estimation ,friendly staff , fantastic ,tasty food ,not even that local to me but worth the drive .
I highly recommend this place! The food came hot and tasty like always. This is the best food I have tasted in a long time pricing was amazing and the food came quickly. No complaints worth every penny.
Food is quite bland, had very little flavour and wasn't spicy at all I ordered a madras. 2 stars are only because it's relatively cheap compared to other Indian takeaways I've had recently, but I guess you get what you pay for.
I always used ababil as a takeaway and always had a good meal sometimes the delivery service was not always that good but carried on using. Did once have mould on my coconut pickle. Told the store and they brought new pots round. But recently ordered and again waited over an hour for my delivery rung store to find an update suddenly delivered arrived . Seems my takeaway was waiting as it was cold when it arrived . So put my take away in the oven that was my 1st mistake as that night really sick . When rice is reheated the bacteria grows at a great rate . I have just read Greenwich hygiene update and not surprised that this outlet received a 1 rating only. Since this experience the thought of a takeaway curry makes me feel sick, I WILL NEVER USE THIS TAKEAWAY AGAIN!!!
