Booked online for the next day, very good communication via email. I then had to change times as I got on the wrong train! Emailed them and they were very flexible and able to pick me up when needed. The driver rang me and he met me outside the train station to walk over to his car so I could find it. Very reasonable price and great service, would definitely use again.

I’m heavily pregnant, and had an impatient driver get mad at me for not having cash or knowing my PIN number so charged me extra because I paid by paypal. I asked if I could call the office to pay with card over phone and he refused. Very rude and upsetting.

Pre booked a taxi the day before I needed it. The taxi never showed. Tried to call a few times and they weren't excepting my calls. What an unreliable service. Will never attempt to use again! And will tell family and friends to avoid. Hopefully my son and his friends arrive to their destination on time for HIS birthday. Hence why I booked the day before.

Terrible experience: our journey in was scary and the price was extortinate.  The driver had very little care or appreciation for speed limits, other cars or corners. When we finally arrived, luckily unscathed, the price was at least £10 more than expected a journey which we normally take. Avoid.

Terrible service. First he called and said he is outside but he parked at the end of my road rather than outside my house despite the fact I have a driveway and there is plenty of space everywhere to pull up. He knew my door number and my house is clearly numbered. I called and said I'm outside and that's when he said I'm at the end. Worst thing is that I called in advance and asked how much it would cost and he said about £5. My partner had a taxi before to the station and he said it cost him £6 so I thought it sounded fine. When we got to the station may I add there were a couple of instances of harsh braking he said £12. I said you said it would be a fiver. He totally denied it and was so extremely rude. Note Ive taken a taxi at 10pm before and it was only £10 so how at 10am is it £12.10? He said our conversation is recorded so I said ok then play it back coz you told me £5, and he said I can't right now. Didn't offer me any solution and said to me 'you're making too much of a deal about this'. Then when I got of at the station granted I didn't say thank you I stormed off as he was so rude and he got out the car and started coming to the station as well which was intimidating. But to note, he must have had a reason to go there, as he didn't approach me or anything. I can handle a misunderstanding about price but the way he dealt with it was rude as discourteous. I highly recommend you choose another service. There are plenty of good ones in Swindon who are better drivers, friendly and won't trick you into paying more. Can I just add, I'm not being a cheapskate as I get reimbursed from work, but it's the principle. If it was gonna be around £12 and he told me that, it wouldn't have been an issue.  P.S - I did some research and called a further 3 Swindon taxi companies and they all said around £7/£8. So I've definitely been overcharged. If A1 have any professional courtesy they will reimburse me the excess I paid or donate it to charity.

I was on a work training day in Swindon so i didnt know the area at all and had to get to the training and back to my train on time. The company was very informative and warned me of the road works. My driver George was very lovely, he genuinely cared about the success of my trips and we had some lovely conversations. They also catered for the fact i moved my taxi last minute to 30 mins early then i had previously requested and they still arrvied early and i had the same lovely driver! Would use again.

Abysmal, this morning I had an exam. I booked a taxi last night around 10pm so that I wouldn't have to worry about getting there on time. Then, at 7am, half an hour before I had to go, I checked my email: they had sent an email saying "The driver you've booked is unavailable and if you don't press bla bla bla your booking will be cancelled" worse thing is they sent this at 3am long after I had gone to sleep. On top of that they wanted to charge me something rediculous as well, luckily I booked another taxi w/ a DIFFERENT company and got there on time for £15 cheaper.  TL;DR Swindon taxis = a joke  Edit: it's worth noting that if I hadn't checked my email this morning I would've been waiting for a taxi that would never have come and not got to my exam on time thus not let in leading to immediate fail or resit.   Edit post reply: Nope, as I said it was 7:30 the taxi was meant to come so you were open and if I'm not in your booking system that really says it all doesn't it?

First driver I spoke to When I gave him the address in park north didn't have the first idea where I wanted now seriously for a black cab firm this is unacceptable driver told me Swindon is a very big place never done the knowledge I'm geussing...no it's not if I just gave street name in london I would understand however in Swindon please dont try and make me laugh, second driver knew exactly where I meant which is how this should work, no need for the customer to do the job for you is there shame on that first driver

Awful company that I've phoned 4 times since moving here 2 weeks ago. Doesn't matter morning or night, I get a somewhat confused controller who umms and ahhs before saying the exact same thing "nooo... I've got nothing". There's never enough drivers on and the controller sounds like a confused mess on the end of the phone. In my life I've dealt with many taxi companies but this is the worst. A1? More like Z26

Super helpful and efficient. I had an urgent need to have something collected from a shop and delivered to a hotel for business and they jumped straight on it and had it done within an hour. Highly recommend and would use again.
