Being a local landlord I needed a repair to a hole in a carpet, I called out York Carpets also known as  A TO Z:  I was informed of a £ 10.00 pounds call out. He stated the carpet repair could only be glued not stitched or professionally seamed back together  and recommended a new carpet at the cost of £350.00 his cost appeared to be focused on the holding deposit of the tenant. I asked for a receipt for the ten pounds where he states he does not give call out receipts. On returning to his shop to look at the carpets @ the cost of £ 350.00 he pointed out what looked like cheap carpets. I then asked again for a receipt for my £10.oo call out where he made the excuse my brother has the receipt book and you have a receipt I give you  ? which was a copy stain proof carpet £350.00. NOT TO BE RECOMENDED.

split and broke my skirting board whilst fitting the carpet. When I went back into the shop to politely ask for a small discount this was met with a point blank refusal. I felt that this spoiled what had otherwise been a good service

I used many carpet shop around the Birmingham but they are not cheapest as york carpet they are fast cheapest friendly and quick service also  remove furniture and remove and damp old carpet

Good service and good value for money. The fitting was very good and the underlay was high quality. Would definitely recommend this to others.
