A truly wonderful place, very friendly staff and the food is amazing! Everything from freshly made delicious sandwiches, vibrant looking, and tasty salads to locally sourced produce such as honey that you can buy in store. It's not uncommon for people to come in just to have a chat, and that's down to the friendly and welcoming atmosphere that has been created by its owner, Penny, who is an absolute delight herself!
Had the coordination chicken and the crossiant, sandwich is a little dry but flavourful, great atmosphere in store. A bit pricy as the coordination chicken costed 6p.
This is a fantastic local business that hits all the right spots; they actively collaborate with other businesses in the area, the staff are friendly, it's progressive, and has a great selection of regional products. The food is tasty and the coffee is good. The only downside is the closing time feels a bit early, though it is a lunchtime venue, and sometimes they scarcely stocked of its been a busy day - but less waste, right?? Definitely recommend if you find yourself out in West Didsbury or a patient or family from one of the nearby hospitals.
Delicious and fresh food! Waited a little time in the queue and it was worth it. I've been here a couple times now, and I'm always full and content after a small feast from the choice of a brilliant diverse menu. Til next time!

We used A Taste of Honey to cater for a work event and I was very impressed and pleased with the service provided. The food was excellent, visually appealing, and full of flavour. Different dietary requirements were catered for perfectly and a wide selection was provided. Penny was brilliant in preparing the food and supplied cutlery, plates, and napkins. We couldn't have asked for more. Thank you so much. I would 100% reccomend A Taste of Honey!
This deli is an absolute treat! Not only are the staff absolutely lovely, the food is so so sooo good! I’m quite fussy and they explained everything that was on the counter. Salads only dreams are made of and to top it off it’s a two minute walk from my house!Food: 5/5
My friend hired the outdoor space for a birthday party. The food was amazing and Penny was so helpful and such a lovely host. Some of us came earlier to put up decorations, not that it was needed as the garden is already so nice. I am already trying to think what event I can have there next!
Lovely staff, great service and delicious food : We discovered a taste of honey when we were in town and it's a great little deli. We ordered salad boxes and sandwiches to take out for a picnic and everything was fantastic and the staff were really helpful. Highly recommended.
My boyfriend made me go here at the weekend, as he said the brownies were quite literally to die for... he wasn't wrong... They are probably the best brownies I have ever tasted, and left me craving for more. Whilst we were there we also picked up two black pudding scotch eggs, which were fabulous.. I will definitely be frequenting more often now - the produce is brilliant and all local.. Friendly staff too
