The scones here are phenomenal. The clotted cream is perfect and the service is lovely, friendly and personal. Kids had a lovely time too, they have a kids menu which includes sandwiches! You'll find a lovely walk outside past the canal. Staff were kind, helpful and very friendly. If you want a good afternoon tea, this is the place to be.
Great cream tea experience! I went with my husband and children and we all enjoyed. We had the savory tea, the Devon cream tea and cakes. Everything was delicious and freshly baked by the owner. The scones had the perfect crumb being still very moist. The presentation is so beautiful that when you start eating, destroying it, breaks your heart a bit. Highly recommend it!

A lovely, friendly, well run typically English tea room with great cakes and home made biscuits. Latte coffees are outstanding, the tea served in a pot with extra hot water was very good indeed and everything clean and hunky dory

A bit dated. Coffee average. Like a lot of small town cafes they seem incapable of making skinny flat whites but believe they can.....trust me....they can't! We both had a toasted sandwich which was adequate. Clean and tidy. There really isn't a great deal of quality cafe's in Dawlish so this one will always do fairly well even though it needs bringing into the 21st century.
Pleasant place to stop off for refreshments , some cakes or traditional cream tea with scone, cream & jam. Also s selection of cold drinks if it's warm or the kids that refuse to entertain hot drinks nowadays. Good location and pleasant staff.
This is a lovely quaint tea shop right next to the stream in Dawlish. We had a lovely high tea with more than we could eat so a doggy bag was supplied. Very friendly and helpful owner and staff and definitely worth a visit.
Enjoyed lovely gluten free savoury tea, & 'normal' cream tea. Hard to find gluten free scones but these were fab. Be back on our next bike ride to Dawlish!
First class cream tea, great service, brilliant food. Only criticism wish it was 235 miles nearer home. Well done.
