No grunts and groans or even a sigh, just got on with it

I needed a quote to have a new shower cabin and shower put it. Also my toilet tank was over flowing. 
They agreed to same day visit and were prompt. The man was very friendly and professional. He said he could fix the overflow problem straightaway. I was a little surprised with the price, though in hinesight I realise it was reasonable. But I had never really had any plumbing work done in the past.
As I had another plumber to give me a quote. I decided to wait till I had all my quotes done. I don't think he was happy with that. 
My other plumber said he didn't do shower cabins. Over the next few days I kept on ringing the company for a quote. They kept on saying someone was going to ring back. But no one ever did. I feel this is very unprofessional of them. I wish they had just said they weren't willing to do the job for me! Or at least given me a quote. But to keep fobbing off a customer and to make them wait at least five days before the penny dropped that they have no intention of giving me a quote! It's has caused unnecessary time waste!!!!
