We recently went here for a drink, after an absence of 8 months due to unruly behaviour. The place seemed better managed and not as intimidating. They always make an effort with decorations.
Visited with my mum as we are having a birthday bash here soon to look at the facilities. Landlord very friendly and helpful.
We've just had some great food big portions absolutely lovely, staff are very welcoming... However, I would avoid taking children or your grandparents lol, as the foul language from the locals in the main room was discusting ... I actually thought the bar manager would have said something, but didn't.nIt's more of a drinkers pub, with lots of locals, and I think thats Why.nWe will go back... but adults only.
