The food here is absolutely delicious. Even dough this restaurant is located right next to a busy road, it is super peaceful once you sit down and listen to the beautiful music that is playing. Something that stuck out to me is the friendly and welcoming staff, the beautiful painting at the wall and the unique raspberry cheesecake. I absolutely love that the number 222 is included in the name. Something so special and unique to me. I will definitely come back here.
Delicious wholesome vegan gluten free comfort food! Love that they are ingredient-conscious and don’t use anything refined. Everything was so good that I ate here twice during my few days in London. Highly recommend!Food: 5/5
Very simple restaurant that has been there for at least 20 years with the same owner! went today for lunch which was quiet so 4 for atmosphere However food was truly delicious menu is imaginative..all fresh home cooked organic vegan ingredients creative and impressive.. service was excellent...definitely a must tryFood: 5/5
Visited 222 on a Saturday afternoon. It was already nearly full to capacity when we arrived. Sara did a great job taking the orders and payment. She was under pressure to service everyone with a till that was playing up. Please be patient with the server as the cuisine was definitely worth the wait. I had the Hale & Hearty which was certainly hearty and very delicious. Served fresh from the pan and to the plate so nice and hot. My friend had Ben's Bowl which he said was very flavoursome too. I really look forward to coming again . .. just please be patient with your server..
We arrived for early dinner 6pm - by the time we left, the place was packed. Food was outstandingly good, healthy and so tasty. Portions are big. Iwish we lived nearer, then I'd visit every week.Food: 5/5
Eating here was such a treat. Their food is hearty and plant focused so you feel content and satisfied. I brought 4 non-vegans here and each one left raving about the meals. Some of their cuisine is inspired by various African and Caribbean influences. The service here is also so kind, they make you feel like you’ve entered a home space.Food: 5/5
Small and nice and beautiful Restaurant. The food was fantastic. One of the best vegan restaurants in town. We had the Seitan Stroganoff and the Bens Bowl. Super Fresh ingredients. The staff were amazing. Wheelchair accessibility: Everything on the ground floor. Toilet will be difficult by wheel chair
From my visit on May 30, 2024: Marlene is the BEST thing that happened to 222! She’s so friendly, personable and accommodating!! I really enjoyed getting to know her better and she also made sure I received my favorite meal of ALL time on the planet, which I very much appreciated!! She was wonderful! I am very grateful to the gal in the kitchen, whose name I do not know, for making my delicious meal, as well!! I know it’s not easy to prepare items that aren’t on the menu, but she did it perfectly!! Thank you so much!!! ———————————————————- Ben was very attentive and helpful when I last came in on May 9th. They no longer carry my favorite meal, but the Ben’s Special was quite delicious and they STILL carry my favorite dessert on the planet, the 222 pancake!! The appetizer pictured was the artichoke heart appetizer. Everything was delicious!!
The whole menu is amazing and I think I could live here. The Sun of Ghana egusi is so soooo good. Service was great, the woman who served us was so welcoming and friendly. My partner had the buffet it was great tasting food and a good variety salads, coconut and beans curry, potatoes, mushrooms, aubergine parmigiana, stir fry. I wish we lived close enough to come all the time!
