This is the perfect place to stop for lunch or a treat. The ladies are absolutely lovely and food is delicious. The ladies are also dressed in 1940's dress to go with the decor. If you want to immerse yourself in a little 1940's, whilst enjoying a nice cup of tea from some pretty vintage china, this is definitely a good place to go. Having already visited several times, I will definitely be making another trip soon 😊

Was my first time eating here yesterday....i was blown away I can definitely say this is a 1 of a kind place. The food was so fresh and delicious, the coffee was the best I've ever had. The service is impeccable and I really felt like I was I was in the 40's this place is all about detail. I will be telling everyone and definitely my new regular when I fancy afternoon tea.

Quirky. Great, if you're interested in WW2 memorabilia; the tiny tea shop, once a cottage, is stuffed full of it. Three of us went. For £10 each, we had a pot of tea, 2 rounds of bread, made into our choice of sandwiches, crisps, a cup cake and a tiny square of shortbread. 'Betty' was friendly and accommodating. Be sure to give yourself plenty of time. We arrived, pre-booked, at 1500. The meal arrived at 1525, giving us only 35 minutes to savour everything before they closed at 1600. If it's a cold day, wrap up warmly as it's a tad chilly inside. Parking is limited. The few spaces across the road are usually full and the rest of the road had double-yellow lines. You might have to park a few minutes walk away in one of the shopping centre car parks. I'll definitely return but will give myself more time and wait until it's warmer.

Fabulously authentic and friendly tea room. High tea was a delight: freshly made triangle sandwiches of our choice, quiche and crudites, followed by an assortment of cakes and accompanied with loose tea steeped in a pot with its own knitted tea cosy. Step back in time and relax - you'll love this place. We do!

Had friends hen do here this afternoon, fabulous, vintage tea rooms with varied menu, the high tea was delicious with tea or coffee, fresh sandwiches, fruit, home made cakes and scones, jam and clotted cream. Finally a glass Prosecco. Superb, and great value for money. Thank you girls, your fun and excellent service. X
