Wow! Just WOW! We only recently discovered this little gem, and we're so glad we did! We love it! Really great, tasty food. Hot, clean and really fast delivery. We're really impressed, as it's been so hard to find anything approaching decent for Chinese food in South Manchester now. Top marks and well done! Keep up the great work 118!
Ok, so we heard 118 was good, but 'good' doesn't do your food justice! Fab! Totally, totally fabulous! Definitely deserve all 5 stars for sure!
Don’t know what’s happened at 118. Have used them for years and always enjoyed but not good the last few times. Not a good smell when opening bag - either cheap or stale fat being used, food poor quality eg. Prawn with green pepper in black bean sauce very dry with lots of green pepper but not many prawns. Very poor and about £8 more than 2 meals cost pre-lockdown. They need a rethink.
Omg food terrible..arrived late,cold and more vegetables than meat. Rang to discuss calmly about my complaint and they were very rude and dismissive . Would never order here again and would not recommend...tangs 100 percent better and same prices,we used on a whim never again...USE TANGS,YOU WILL NEVER USE HERE AGAIN ONCE YOU DO I PROMISE
serving bad gone off / rotten onions on the salt & pepper king prawn dish. The Prawns were also chewy and soggy Prawn crackers were stale. salt and pepper chips had very little peppers. Really poor dishes!Food: 1/5

Weve ordered from here a few times with no problems. The food is ok and hot if you collect rather than get delivery. The price is too high for what it is too. However, we ordered prawn in green curry sauce and when we got it home it was just prawns floating around in coconut milk. I rang them to see if they would change it but the woman turned into a lunatic and started shouting at me in a different language. She said just because I dont like it they arent going to change it. I tried to calmly explain it wasnt that we may not have liked it, it wasnt what was ordered on the menu. Either way they wouldnt consider changing it and I got screamed at.
Went in to order last night before closing, asked for satay and received black bean. Hopefully I can get my money back when I go in when it's open. If so, at least they'll have good customer service.
One of the best Chinese Takeaways I've ever been to. Always delicious, always fresh, always hot and tasty. The salt & pepper mixed meat is a particular favourite of mine.
Disgusting food, what type of takeaway serves oven chips will not be going there again
