Friendly staff, tasty food and prompt service. You are encouraged to order through their website, which was difficult to navigate, despite being relatively IT literate. Otherwise, good experience and nice food.
A delicious lunch to celebrate Daughter in laws birthday. We loved it all.. Daughter in law really enjoyed her Birthday cocktail. Thank you
Avoid this place on Friday night! I ordered 3 pizzas by phone and was told to come in 30 minutes. I eventually had to wait onsite 25 minutes more and received pizzas very far of a standard Zizzi quality!! Yes, I’ve got 30% discount for waiting, but it doesn’t cover out disappointment when we opened the boxes at home! Please see the pictures - this miserable pepperoni is what we’ve got instead of “Rustica Meat Sofia” - lots of ingredients are just missing. Will never come back again!
Very poor customer service from the beginning till the end. Avoid this place. Lack of experience from staff members. My boyfriend and I had to ask for cutlery and napkins. Our waitress looked like she didn’t know what she was doing and made mistakes with our order. We found hair in the arancini and waited an hour for the mains to arrive. The pasta was disgusting and tasteless I don’t recommend ordering King Prawns Linguine and Pollo Piccante. I believe the staff should receive better training and be taught how to interact with customers.
Great food although working with a reduced menu so a number of dishes weren't available. The staff were excellent and actually the food we had was very tasty. It was a shame the specials advertised weren't actually available, I thought it would be better not to advertise these dishes. Apart from availability and without being too grumpy, def worth a visit and we will be going back
Very impressed. Chef excellent food presented well service polite yet friendly. First visit to this Zizi and in my eyes they did well today. I’m not fussy as a person but if I was it would be difficult to complain. I don’t like cashless payments though and they do insist on using a website to order your food directly to the kitchen. This may seem great for millennials but us boomers will be frustrated by forced into tech websites. The ordering website is ok but “add to order” must be tapped twice or it doesn’t. Overall this restaurant is very nice and staff are too. Very happy. A great restaurant is the sum of the people that run it.
Our family is a big fan of Zizi. However, I was not impressed with the restaurant in Henley-on-Thames. I ordered a take away for kids today and was so disappointed. We got soggy garlic bread that looked and tasted completely different from what we used to buy. Kid's portion of spaghetti bolognese was a half of a usual size and kids didn't like it at all as "it tasted weird" they said. In a fruit pot there were 7 slices of banana that didn't look fresh at all. Unfortunately, I had thrown everything away before I decided to write a review. Therefore, I don't have more pictures to show how poor the quality of food was. Avoid this restaurant in Henley-on-Thames.
I went there with my husband & son almost 5 yrs they asked if we had a reservation & we didn’t had any, they checked their list and thankfully they said we can come in, we loved the atmosphere & the food was tasty, i loved that the restaurant wasn’t much noisy and even the music was really in a good volume, the place is kids friendly they have special menu for kids & they gave my son coloring pens to keep him busy. The guy “Akos” who was serving us was super friendly & doing his job very well. I enjoyed my visit & i would definitely go back again.
This restaurant is in the centre of Henley, on the main road. From the outside, the pretty window is deceiving as it looks small, but once you enter it's like a Tardis - absolutely huge. The building is one of the oldest in the town and it's been cleverly decorated, with quirky features. There's both downstairs and upstairs seating. We sat downstairs at the back. We did pre-book, as it can get quite busy and a steady flow of guests, meant all the tables were eventually full. The staff were friendly and welcoming, providing a good service. Dogs are not allowed in the restaurant. You can either order via the online system, or with the waiting staff. 3 of us had an array of dishes including prawn skewers, garlic bread, salad, chicken, beef, pizza, desserts and drinks. The total cost was just over £100, which is pricey, but the food was really good. We were not rushed and thoroughly enjoyed the evening. I would certainly recommend this to others. Parking is available in the town behind waitrose and it's free after 6pm.
Place was a mess... the table wasn't made so we basically we were on a bare table, we had to ask for cutlery?? We asked for water many times and got it 40 mins late. Barely any drinks, the waiter said there was mango juice, we ordered it, never got it, then found out they didn't sell it. Anyways what a mess but we had a laugh. Food was edible...
