Never expected the vegyep, you read it right to be so good The staff was super helpful to create a veg menu from scratch to satisfy our needs. Everything tasted great. And the Banana fritter dessert - WOW :
For years Zing Vaa has been one of the best places to eat Chinese food in Sheffield. Excellent and value for money menu with quality food provided. However, in recent times the level of service has really dropped. Many of the staff are plain rude or just bad at their jobs. They forget orders, take too long to deliver drinks, and seem to try hard to leave you feeling disappointed. Needs a big shake up if it is to return to the great times of the past.
Well who would moan about this place, not me. I arrived by myself, the place was busy and buzzing - lots of Chinese eating there. Got a table for one, was looked after quickly and beautifully by very helpful lady. I am veggie and choices were pretty good. Food was delicious, couldn't stop eating till it was all gone and all for less than £20 with two beers. Highly recommended!
As a Chinese family of 3, we come here once every few weeks and it has always been a really pleasant experience. The food is reasonably priced and delicious. The service is speedy especially given the fact that it gets very busy at peak times. Overall, parking is easy to find and if not on Sundays, very affordable. I would highly recommend this restaurant.
Food can be really tasty depending on the chef. However, toilets are absolutely disgraceful. Found out that the restaurant has been awarded 0 rating sic! By food standards agency after the visit. Definitely will not be visiting again.
Surprised to find this place metres away from the moor market. Its a narrow staircase down to a dimly lit restaurant the Dim Sum was very good by Sheffield standards, with very good flavour. The price was also excellent, as spent about 10£ each for a fairly filling meal.
Horrible and rude services. Food tasted plain as if it were cooked without effort. Waitress were complaining in Cantonese right in front of us and did not return our change. Used to be good, but their standards dropped tremendously. Very disappointed.
Last Saturday my family had booked a table for three for a set meal we did however order what we thought was an extra starter only to be fetched out three we explained that was not what we wanted only to be angrily confronted with the waitress who took the original order.she said it was our fault and we should learn how to order she was aggressive and all thus in view of a full restaurant. We paid for our drinks and left the restaurant in disgust other staff members un helpful with our complaint we have been going for years to zing vaa but no more staff have become more unhelpful and rude and yes food is excellent but ar what price the customers embarrassment
We were greeted and shown to our table, only good part of evening. After looking at menus we were ignored for 20mins and only got served after staring at the head waiter, begrudgingly. We ordered food and two cokes. Meanwhile other people arrived and were seated and got their drinks, including a chinese party who were served with drinks IMMEDIATLY. After another twenty minutes of being ignored still no drinks, and no one came to see if we were OK. Very bad customer service indeed! The restaurant was only a third full. It would appear that unless you are Chinese, I wouldn't bother going in, they obviously don't value or respect English customers at all. 0/10
My favorite Chinese restaurant in town. Food is delicious and of a vast variety. The staff really care about what they serve and they make sure to please their customers.
