I took my son's favourite jacket for repair after he made two tears in the fabric. I was very impressed by the care and professionalism of the staff. They really know their stuff and made the repairs invisible! We are both delighted. The cost was very reasonable and I found dealing with the staff an absolute pleasure. Top-class service!

Took my 2 items in 10.15a.m. on a Monday and got a call to say they were ready 10.15a.m. on the next day !!! Pleated Mother of the Bride dress which needed taking up. Was originally told it would take at least a week to do that, and also an outfit which was really badly creased which required steaming.. I am over the moon. Excellent, friendly service. Perfectly altered my expensive black jumpsuit. Wide-legged pleated chiffon plus lining needed taken up for a blacktie event. Could not be more pleased  - the length is exactly what I asked for.  Highly recommended.

Long review, but in a nutshell poor workmanship and appalling  customer services. They obviously can’t take criticism or admit when they have made an error, avoid at all costs and find somewhere else.  Took a dress I bought for holiday here to be taken in on 12th July, paid £25 for the express service. Went back to collect on 20th July and it hadn’t been done. The assistant got the dress from the hangar and said she’d leave it out to be done that day. Explained my husband would come back as I was at work.  He went back the next day, it had still not been done. They said he could wait but he said he’d come back.  When he brought the dress home and I tried it on, I couldn’t get the zip up where she’d taken it in. When i eventually did it was twisted, wouldn’t go the full way up and looked terrible. It’s was obvious it had been done on a hurry. I immediately messaged with images and explained I was unhappy and couldn’t take the dress on holiday the next day. She told me to come in when I was home and she’d take a look, alter it and give me my money back.  I messaged in my return to say I didn’t want her to do anything with the dress and I would go elsewhere but wanted a refund. She told me I still had to return with the dress.  I did this, she took a look and said she couldn’t see anything wrong with it. I examined id sent images which show the problem. She said she’d have to return the dress to the way it was before she would refund me. I explained I didn’t want her to do this as firstly I didn’t have time as my children were in the car and one was due at a music lesson and second the material was very delicate and the stitching had already come away and I was concerned about rips.  She snatched the dress in an aggressive manor, walked into her back room and shut the door. It took me asking one of the assistants 3 times before I could get my dress back and I had to leave without my £25 refund as she refused to give it to me.  I would avoid this place at all costs. Did a great job replacing the zip on my awkward shaped semi rigid tank bag which was irreplaceable and I was begining to despair. Quick turnaround, very reasonable and great communication. I know who will be doing all my bike stuff from now on and I'll be telling all the boys liberal description. Photos before and after.

Used this company to make alterations to my granddaughters prom dress. The alteration was to the hem at the front , took the dress in on the 16th of June which was 19 days before her prom so we were charged an extra £35 for express service. The cost of the actual alteration was £85, making the total price £120. When we picked the dress up from the shop it was totally creased and told if you want the creases removed it would be at an extra cost. I think the cost is extortionate especially in the current financial situation.Service:&nbsp;Alterations

I needed an evening gown altering and needed it doing within two days for an award ceremony. I contacted zigzags and they said no problem and to drop it in. The dress was ready to be picked up the same day. Superb customer service and would recommend them to anyone. Dress is now a perfect fit.
