Decided to try another local takeaway for a change. Never ordered from here before, and was left very disappointed. I won't be ordering here again. Waited 80 mins for food to arrive at weekend, so not uncommon, however when special fried rice arrived, it tasted like charcoal and frankly just tasted badly burnt. Starters were "ok" though, so rated 2 stars rather than 1.
Food is good but you can never get through on the phone otherwise it would be 4 stars. I'd say I only ever get through 5% of the time. It's either always engaged or rings for ages then cuts you off. Haven't had a meal there for about 6 months because I can't get through, and end up giving my order to another chippy
The most diabolical service. Waited 40 minutes outside in the cold with my child for an order. When questioned they said it’s because I’ve ordered chips. Ridiculous. Served everyone else and rather than apologise the Chinese lady started shouting and screaming at me through a window calling me a liar. Never been so disgusted in a gang of women or business in my life. Also chips were greasy to the point they leaked everywhere. Used to visit this chippy regularly but wouldn’t step foot in there again.
I'm sorry but you have got a cheek charging money for the dried up Salt & Pepper Chicken Wings you sent to my Gf lastnight. What did you do cook them at 3PM then left them under the heat lamps till 8.30pm . Good Guess hey . Ye cos they was dry and that's hard when you cook chicken on the bone. Avoid like the plague .
Had chicken chow mein. Noodles and bean sprouts cooked in dirty fat, minute pieces of overcooked chicken, no veg except 1 end of a spring onion. Worse c/c I have ever had
It was very busy and it seems to be a popular take away. They didn't have any printed menu. Worst thing is that they gave me mixed meat chow mein instead of vegetarian one despite confirming twice that's it's vegetarian one. Staff seems friendly and helpful though.
Nice food, delivery takes a while but I can never get through there phone line are always busy, I sometimes wonder weather they just take them off the hood for a short while! But haven't said that there always busy and when you drive past you can see it's clearly chocker.
Haven't ate here in a good while and won't be eating her again all the food was so sweet chips burnt disappointed as loves this chippy years ago.
The best chippy in Kirkby, food is amazing, never have any complaints, the food is always fresh and hot, staff are friendly and polite always.
Food is always spot on and tastes great, only down side is they run out of crispy chili beef to quick because it tastes to good
