This get's a one star review based purely on my last visit to the restaurant. I have ordered from here in the past, and the food has been very good, which prompted my return with my family. We got to the restaurant at about 8pm on Saturday 8th Feb 2014 and were promptly seated there was 6 of us. It took about 20 minutes for someone to even take our order. 15 minutes later, our drinks or popaadoms still hadn't arrived...this led me having to physically get up and walk to the fridge to get out our cans to which the staff were not happy and said "5 more minutes" which was their excuse for everything. We noticed as our drinks arrived another party of 10 arrived AFTER US. They must've been regular or more valued customers because they received service straight away. Coming close to 10 O'clock we were getting quite irritated that all we had been served were poppadums. Only 4, yet there was 6 of us. We started to get curious as the table after us were getting lots of them. We enquired as to why we only got 4 and they're getting loads to which the waiter replied that we shouldn't really complain as the poppadums were complimentary. To our next disgust, the table that came in 20 minutes after us, with a party of 10 got served their food BEFORE us. At that point we had enough and decided to leave. We addressed our complaints to the manager but his excuse was that they ordered "something smaller" - Are YOU FUC***NG ME? There was 10 of them! We ordered a mixed grill! As we made our way to leave the waiter pleaded that it was only 5 more minutes that we would get served....all this whilst watching food being delivered to the table that came in after us. As a decent party, we decided to pay for our drinks out of courtesy...4 cans of coke and a jug of mango lassi which cost £10! £10?! We asked why so much for that. They said it was for the poppadums as well. Utterly pathetic service, and a team that only values their regulars. Would not recommend to anyone ever again.
