We love the vibe and atmosphere. The train corridor through to the stunning art deco dining room, superb. The food was well worth the wait on a busy Saturday night. The staff are exceptional and friendly. Our first visit and we will definitely be back. Great menu and service Parking: Off street parking
We got dinner here tonight and it was delicious! It's made fresh so it does take a little while to be prepared. The lamb was the most tender lamb I've ever had in a curry. The service was great, everyone was really nice. The interior furnishings are fantastic. It's got a bit of a art deco vibe and the hallway leading from the bar to the restaurant is decorated like an old train. Very well done. I wish we were staying in Stonehaven longer so we could come back.
Food was delicious, staff were great. We came last minute no reservation on a very busy night, so it took a while to get our mains but it was very much worth the wait! Everything was delicious.
Take away - order easy to place online, with a 30 min pick up time, which worked well for me. Excellent range of products in their menu at competitive prices. Our order was ready on arrival, easy access street parking at the door, food was well prepared and tasted great, clearly made with fresh ingredients and we will be back again. Give them a try - you won't be disappointed, :-
Excellent food, in fact the best curry I have ever had. Excellent service from the staff and fantastic decor. Very reasonable prices and definitely worth a visit. We had our anniversary meal there and they spoiled us Vegetarian options: Plenty Parking: Plenty parking outside Wheelchair accessibility: Easy access from the front Dietary restrictions: Just ask and they will accommodate
We really enjoyed the food, the surroundings and the service. My food was delicious and we’d never been inside this very special building before. I’m planning to take my friend along for a Christmas lunch.
Stunning building, with two entrances on two distinctly different sides. The one at the restaurant dining room end has a kind of 'art-deco' feel - a large, well lit room with large old fashioned metal framed Crittal windows - which look on to a garden area. The other entrance is a more conventional street entrance, with a bar area and a long decorated corridor. Despite looking very busy, we got a small table right away. Service was attentive and friendly - even jovial at times. The head waiter took some gleeful pride in guessing what we wanted - almost correctly. He memorised our order and got one bit of it wrong when it came - a chicken instead of a vegetable dish, but that was okay. We let it go. The food did take a wee while to arrive, which we didn't mind. They provided some nice complimentary pakora type snacks to keep us going. My wife loved her chicken dish. My lamb kebab dish was less good, being comprised of some lean but also some incredibly fatty inedible portions of spring lamb. The good bits were good, but overall it was disappointing. The total bill was about what we expected and I was able to relate my slight disappointment to both the head waiter and the chef, who took note to look into the preparation of the meat. We still enjoyed our visit and would certainly go back.
Well this did not disappoint. Art deco Interior of a train leaving Carron into a hotel restaurant in Mumbai was a surprise and much more spacious than expecting. You must have a starter the pakora sizzlers and the fish cake both stunning could have had 2nds and 3rds. Main just as good I enjoyed Garden 21 with Seabass. Korma got the thumbs up too, every dish, rice and chapatti was spot on. Gin choice also very good so a must visit if your in the area.
We enjoyed this family outing. Friendly, helpful staff, very good food, pleasant ambience. Not too busy. Reasonable prices.Food: 4/5
Food was great but takes forever to get served. Was out with some friends I hadn't seen for years so we wanted a quick bite to eat before heading to the pub. Couldnt get setved for food then drinks took ages to come. Kept getting told by staff to keep the volume down. Seemed to be the only time we would get anyone over to the table. Was there far longer than we wanted to be.
