I have attended 2 craft courses at Zantium Studios and very much enjoyed sharing the holistic experience of making something creative with like minded others. It is both inspiring and nurturing due to the experience of being in a group with supportive tutors who know how to bring out the best in their students. The dancing peacock "Godfrey" is another highlight, the scenic location and of course those amazing group meals; and the best is yet to come: Alison's home made CAKE in the afternoon # cherry on the cake :- did I mention cake! :- Thank you ~ Dustie Hickey 23/3/19
I had a gift of a craft course voucher given to me that id wanted to do for ages. I had such a fantastic day making my mosaic I've asked for another one for my next birthday as they offer loads of other cool stuff. The studio is gorgeous and people are so kind and warm that you are made to feel totally at home so it's no problem to go alone as you will be in a small group anyway and it's a very social day out. I was able to mosaic the logo to my business which has now been framed and had added hooks for keys. My day here has given me confidence now to start another project now I know the basics.
Great day learning stained glass. Tutor was very knowledgeable and friendly. Fab lunch provided and cake.
Where to start? Beautiful environment, excellent well paced teaching with massive learning and inspirational resources. Lovely lunch with home grown eggs, made into superb cakes. I stayed in the onsite cottage,equally superb.This is my second visit, I will be back! Thankyou.
The bookbinding course was superb, I couldn't have imagined that I would leave at the end of the day with a book that looked as if I had bought it in a shop!! Holly was an excellent tutor, really knowledgable but perfectly well-paced. And super organised too! The environment is lovely as well, with a very warm welcome from Alison and Peter, superb home-cooked food the cake itself is worth the trip! and a gorgeous studio to work in. I would so recommend this course to anyone, whether you do crafts or not.
Had an amazing time! Alison, the hostess not the tutor, was warm, and welcoming. Alison, the tutor, was talented and instructive. To both, humble apologies for the floor #dontspilltheink. Lunch was delicious as was afternoon cake. Met some wonderful people too. Brilliant day!
I can’t rate the courses at Zantium Studios enough. The tuition is first class and I have now been back to further my mosaicing skills five times and will still be coming back for more! We work in a lovely friendly atmosphere learning a lot from each other but especially from Peter who cannot do enough to get us started and then help our progress. We are fed well and Alison cooks delicious homemade cakes. I find the five day summer courses very relaxing , you are able to immerse yourself into a project and it is a real break from everyday life.
What an amazing day !.. alison & Peter were perfect hosts and offered a lovely picnic lunch along with drinks and cake throughout the day !. Idilic surroundings. Eddie our willow expert was very patient and talented and made everything look so easy .. I came away with 2 structures. Definitely will be booking another course .. highly recommended
Had a wonderful time with my sisters attending animal sculpture willow weaving course at Zantium studios. Emma the tutor was excellent and we all came away with recognizable animals. Recieved a warm welcome from Alison the studio owner an a delicious lunch , cake and lots of tea and encouragement !!! Would heartily recommend this course and venue. Huge thanks to Emma for her patience and encouragement.
Had a wonderful time making willow obelisks and dragonflies here with Eddie as tutor. Alison and Pete were superb hosts - we were made very welcome and the food we were served was delicious. I wouldn't hesitate to return! Thank you!
