Grants, a local estate agent to Wirksworth, provided an excellent service, listened to my thoughts and needs. Marketed my house with a range of still and video images and advised if any work or decoration was required to expedite the sale. I handed over the keys, and agreed for them to do accompanied viewings, my preference, which they arranged at times convenient to me. The house sold very quickly, they remained in contact and continued to provide advice until the sale was completed. I would not hesitate to recommend Grants. Truly excellent.
Shaun and his team have been managing our rental property for the past 10 years. They are a knowledgeable, professional and friendly team that have helped ensure the property has been tenanted throughout. Owning a property from a distance can be complicated and stressful at times but the Grants service simplified and assured through some of those difficult times. More recently the team sold the property. Within two days of marketing we accepted an above asking price offer and completed just a few weeks ago. It’s the end of an era now we have move to Derbyshire permanently - but I would definitely recommend Grants if you have a property to either sell or rent.
From the beginning, we have received an outstanding service from Grant's. Sean treated me with compassion and respect when I first walked into their office, pretty desperate to find a new rental home. Very quickly Nicola found us some great options and went above and beyond to ensure that we secured viewings. We really like the atmosphere in the shop! Everyone is friendly and knowledgeable and from my first visit we felt that we were in good hands. The team obviously work closely as any one of them was able to answer our questions when the person I dealt with was out of the office. The viewings on the house we were selling and on the one we were buying were all at times that were good for me and were carried in their usual friendly and efficient manner. When we came to 'crunch' time and there were some price negotiations to be done I was very pleased with Coleen's efforts on my behalf. We feel that Grants stuck with us, even helping when there was a bit of a crisis with the removals company. This is the second time we have bought through Grants and if it came to pass that we had to move again, they would without question be our first port of call. Thank you Grants.
I recently obtained a rental through Grants of Derbyshire. They were absolutely excellent from the very start. The person who completed the viewing was extremely polite and friendly. I dealt with Colleen in the lettings department and she was absolutely superb. Very amicable and explained things clearly. She took an interest in my personal situation and seemed generally interested in getting the best result for me. Finalising my move was also very simple and I was given a lot of guidance along the way. Their friendliness and professionalism was 5 star and I’d recommend them to anyone!

Brilliant service from start to finish. Colleen took some really great photos whilst we were looking for onward property to buy, once we did I notified Grants and they completed the particulars and posted the cottage on line the same afternoon! There was a lot of interest, and just 8 days later I accepted an offer. All of the staff have been fantastic throughout the sale process. I would definitely recommend Grants for their care, attention to detail and support.
