Good food and service. Would not go to celebrate something special. But if just to eat it's delicious food. We had chicken / rib combo. Ribs was the best we have ever tried. Didn't like the coleslaw. Parking: Very small car park. If busy might be a problem to park.
We stopped at Zaks for breakfast during a recent stay in Norwich and loved the place. They have a small parking area outside and no doubt the place is popular amongst the local students in the evenings but the overall setting next to the river and choice of both American and English breakfasts was lovely.
Lovely views of the river and Cow Tower from a nice outside seating area. Very pleasant staff but were informed of my onion allergy and then brought out food with spring onion all over it. The burgers were really good and we were not waiting very long. The spare ribs were apparently very succulent and tasty but as they were sprinkled with spring onion l wouldn't know. Not too expensive. Would definitely recommend.
Fairly good. Big portions, no frills. Nice that it's an independent mini chain. Could do with a few basic extras such as a little coleslaw or a small side salad. You just get a burger and lots of chips. Overall we enjoyed our visit, food is a bit more basic than some other diners, but not too expensive.
Great atmosphere, wonderful food, friendly staff reasonably priced. Well worth a visit. Blue cheese dip was amazing!
Always had lovely food here. Recently visited with family for a goodbye breakfast before they travelled back home. They were very accommodating and very lovely to hold the breakfast grill while waited for a couple who had got held up. All food was very tasty and arrived in good time. There is unlimited tea and filter coffee during breakfast which was great and even better that we were actually asked regularly if we wanted refills!! Everyone had clean plates by the end of it so happy tummies all round! Highly recommend.
Lovely staff, great atmosphere and food was yummy. Just huge huge portions!Food: 5/5
Top quality food. Group of 8 travelled to Ipswich and back purely to visit here and then travel straight back. The burgers looked incredible. I had the stairway to heaven and that was really good. The chicken was great and the ribs were phenomenal. Just fell off the bone. Great desserts as well! Cannot recommend more.
Went for a meal on Friday early evening with husband and friend, the service was very friendly and the food was excellent, hot and plenty of, we also had a dessert and this was very good too. The only slight thing is that the toilets are not very big and only two,one ladies and one gentleman, and if there are alot of customers it can be quite a wait. But generally a very good place to eat.
I come here with work every now and then, usually for Wings Wednesdays and it's always a good experience. This time the wings were extra good, my favourite are the Maple and Red Peppers ones. Service was fairly quick and very friendly from all staff members.
