Great price quality balance. Although this may not be my favourite sushi place in the town, I am very impressed of what I got for just one third of what I would have paid in another place. The sushi was fresh and tasty, good portions. The service is sadly not the best, I see employees working too hard in this place. Not sure who gets the tip I gave. The atmosphere of the place is nothing special, maybe better to get for takeaway.
Delicious food at very very affordable price. Our sashimi taste fresh though a tad too cold for me. Upon was perfectly cooked, not too soggy or salty. There does seem like a bit of Chinese influences in the seasoning but still delicious nonetheless. Will definitely come here again. It's a very fast pace restaurant but you can see the staff and the locals have a cute relationship.
A great find! Quirky in a good way and god made with love. It has a big menu and I’m not sure they’ve changed their prices for 10 years. Portion sizes are also big so I think for the sake of survival they need to up the prices soon. We only had sushi so I need to return for the rest of the menu. CASH ONLY!
Better than expected! The place is quite small and generally pretty busy, so definitely worth booking in advance. Prices are really good for the portion sizes! It's a very simple place, and if that's what you're after, this place will be great! It's cash only, but cash point is just a few mins walk away
Amazing food and service. Been a few times ,take away options also Available you can take it and go sit around Thames,which is only 10 minutes away ; you can bring your own booze or they have soft drinks and refill tea reasonable prices. It’s Cash Only!
Good tempura, not bad sushi set considering the prices. Malaysian curry chicken tastes good only 6 pounds. We had a good afternoon tea at this place.
I read the other reviews so have had to see for myself I took a friend there for lunch and I was so impressed The service was quick, brisk and direct but the food speaks for themselves. Tremendous food. Good portions, fresh and piping hot. The menu is quite extensive with Chinese and Japanase dishes. Highly recommended and I will definitely will visit again.
CASH ONLY! Have been here a few times now and the one thing that you come here for is always great - the sushi of course. The decor is very simple and utilitarian. Service is quick and attentive. They have a selection of soft drinks and operate a BYOB policy. Will definitely be back again. Make sure you bring cash!
Absoloutely gorgeous sushi and the noodles are amazing!!! Such great service, great value for money, staff are so attentive and make sure you have everything you need. So yummy!!!! Go there ASAP.
I’ve had takeout and eaten in the restaurant and both are great options although if you want to eat in, you need to reserve a table in advance as they only have a handful of table. The food is value for money, the portion sizes are good and the food is always tasty. One of my favourites in this local area!
