ROKA Canary Wharf

Came here on 28/05/22 for their brunch and it did not disappoint!! Our waitress Angel was absolutely incredible and kept our glasses full without having to ask. Customer service was 10/10 and we couldn’t fault a single thing. You get A LOT for your money & it is definitely worth experiencing one the the best brunches out there!!

Regarding Food: 3.5stars. We went for the premium tasting menu and the food was ok, not impressive. The broccoli was a bit overcooked and tasted a bit bitter. Regarding covid measures: 1 star. Only hand gels were provided. Staffs were not wearing masks and keeping distances were not carried out very well. One dish was served to our table by mistake and after a while the staff took it away and put it straight to another customer, I’m very concerned of hygiene control in this restaurant.

Lovely Ambience. Enjoyed my meals. The tiger prawn tempura is A MUST. I will recommend the watermelon spritzer and the ginger ninja drink. The staff were very friendly and attentive. Even though there was issues with the meat and drinks, they were very understanding and fine with our changes. I highly recommend going there. Am gonna try the brunch.

We were probably expecting too much for a sort of fine dining Japanese restaurant but apart from the wonderful service from the staff, the food is at best not bad : We went for their brunch menu and despite the portion is rather generous, quality is not up to par for a Japanese restaurant. The roast chicken is good and the desser platter is great.

We had the tasting menu for £99. We got a broad selection of Japanese food. Sashimi, Black cod, lamb and wagyu beef - All was tasting excellent. The desert platter was delicious. The atmosphere in the restaurant was very loud. This is some minus - but still 5 stars.

My wife and I celebrated our 7th wedding anniversary here tonight 11/07/22. Great service and lovely food. The beef sirloin, the baby pork ribs and the tempura prawns were the pick of the lot. Wonderful gesture by the service staff to wish us and provide a wonderful dessert on the house. Will be back because there is much more to try from the menu besides everything we enjoyed tonight.

One of my favourite restaurants. Black cod is great as always and medium fatty tuna is exquisite. Many thanks for the fantastic service! Look forward to dining there again.

Great food and quick service. Really nice atmosphere in restaurant and lounge. Only nitpick would be they have happy hour in the lounge where you get a cocktail for £6.50 which in London is a steal, however if you order the same drink in the restaurant they charge you double. Raised this with our server who cleared it with the manger and lowered the price back down but shame you have to ask really!

Nice restaurant with delicious food. I ordered salmon sashimi, the yaki asparagus, with the sweet soy and sesame, salmon teri-yaki and rice. The salmon and the asparagus were superb! I finished with a chocolate cake which has a lovely and tasty surprise i won't spoil it for you! and the ice cream also delicious. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the sommelier was superb. After my selection of wine we were chatting and at the end of my meal i was offered a glass of sake to try with floral and marzipan tonalities which was the cherry on the top of the cake! Absolutely amazing. All in all, yes, it is pricey but the quality of the food and the atmosphere won't disappoint for a special occasion.

Rokas service was exceptional with all the care taken though the food was lacking the wow factor for me. The hot pot was very sickly though the flavours were there, the miso soup was lukewarm and needed less salt, the seabream was nice but could've done with having crispy skin and the sushi rolls were fresh and nicely presented.
