I was looking for a new kebab shop as Pyle Charcoal Grill has really gone bad, I left after being a customer of 10 years. I tried Yummies last night and it’s so much better, much bigger portions, the staff are much more friendly and happier. Avoid Pyle Charcoal Grill and go to Yummies instead, you will be looked after better and the kebab meat is a lot nicer and much bigger portions.
First class food, always hot, straight forward ordering process. Very honest staff because I placed an order and had difficulty with making a card payment and so arranged to pay cash on delivery. Later that evening I discovered that the card payment had been processed after I'd paid cash. On phoning the shop it was established that I had paid twice and within 10 minutes the cash was brought round to my home. Highly recommended.
So my food was cold and wrong plus they forgot my can but my issue wasn’t the lack of common sense but the sheer attitude I received when I called to explain...please learn some respect for the people that pay your bills...after years of eating here I’m sorry to say I’ll never be back...I’m disgusted with the way I was spoken to and I shall be taking this issue further..
Not happy the order was over 10 minutes late and when it arrived I ordered an x large mixed grill which looked like a small had hardly any meat and a large donner kebab which also had hardly any meat looked like a small. I'm usually happy with the food I receive but today was shocking for size wise.. Paid £20 for basically next to nothing
Absolutely disgusting attitude from the idiot on the phone. Ordered food on a Monday night. Told an hour for delivery, so we accepted that. 1 1/4 hours later rang up to ask where the food was.....very rude answer with no apology, just “it’s coming alright”. 1 3/4 hours after order, rang up to find out where food was? No apology again! So said we’d like to cancel order. Was then told, “don’t bother ordering from here again”. TRUST me I never will. I don’t even want to give 1 star you’re the rudest person I’ve ever spoken too
Placed an order 9pm said it was being prepeaird never showed up waited until 12am. I tried phoning them half dozen times. I used they're chat it was autamated. I have spent 100s over the years with yummys, always gave good tips to the dilvery driver they will never will they have my custom again! I'll be ordering from peoppinos just down the road from now on, if no one as tried peoppinos then you should, the shop is cleaner and better food all around. I wish I could upload you a photo of the times the order was placed, its on my phone as proof to show friends and family not to order from them again.
Placed an order which i totally forgot to ask for salad and sauce, but the guy who took my order didn't even ask if I wanted it . Won't order again as most of it went in the bin as it was to dry.
Got a takeaway from here one night in the week after watching the football. It was quiet I ordered a pizza with colsaw and chips. Got home to find not colsaw and chips but cheese and chips. Was to late to take it back. Food was ok but couldn't get a simple order right. It has happened a few times but normally when I have ordered delivery. Would still go here for something small after the pub. But if I were to order i would use the new place mozzeralla I've had a few good deliveries from there.
The food yousto be good from this place, The chicken kebabs makes everyone ill it's shocking need to be reported.
Over an hour to wait for delivery and on top.of that,I had two cold kebabs and peppers which I didn't ask for. To make things worse the staff are horrible! Delivery driver stuck his hand in my kebab and told me there was nothing wrong with it! Never ordering again!
