We went here on the recommendation of a friend. We ordered food and was originally told 45 minutes. I know takeaways get really busy so whnlens my food hadn't turned up after an hour I called and asked politely where it was. He confirmed it was busy and apologised for the delay which is fine. After 1 hour 10 minutes it turned up... this is where the problems started. It was cold, the chips were soggy, rice was dry. 3 items were missing from the order. We called them up to let them know only to be told it was too busy to send the items and its not his fault it's busy... if you can't cope with the amount of orders, stop taking them. What was worse was as we were trying to sort our order he told us to wait while he took another phone can and left us waiting on the phone. Needless to say we won't be going back again.

I have had take aways from the Bengal Lounge for the past 4 years and recently they seem to have come off the boil so to speak. Wrong items in your take out and what was concerning... chicken in a vegetarian dish. Good job she's okay with chicken! Suggest you best check before you leave as they will replace however another 30 minutes and a drive... well.

Had it delivered. £3 delivery fee! The food took an hour to get to me and it was cold. Total cost for a meal for one was , with delivery £ 15.65 ! Disgusting. Even warmed up again the meal was bad! Never again

This place is awsume!! All staff are polite, they almost always open the door on entering and leaving and are always making sure that the meal and experience we have at the Bengal lounge is at the highest of standards, we go every outher week now and are really getting to know the staff, one time a very polite member of staff advised my girlfriend to try something different she took his word for it and boi was she happy ,
