We have been going to Yume for many years and the food and service have been amazing, good quality also reasonably priced. It's been our favourite sushi place for a very long time I don't want to give less stars just because of one particular day I think it was they have changed the chef so the sushi didn't look well made. But that's still much better from many sushi place!
Really nice Japanese food, and the price is good. The one caveat is the limited number of seating areas on a busy day, so I recommend to make a booking in advance.
all dishes are good especially the chicken teriyaki don and udon. I like them because I like sweet flavor. but the portion is small...
Amazing and authentic!!!! I’ve tried all Japanese restaurants across Bath, Oxford, Bristol, and Reading and this is the only one I will come again and again. The restaurant is owned by Japanese and the food is very authentic. Definitely recommend it!!!!
Went here lastnight with a few friends, on first impression the restaurant looks smaller than it is... it has a really nice cosy feel my friends and I were sat downstairs, the guy that served us was really nice... We were able to have a laugh & banter which made us feel welcome & relaxed, the food was brought out really quickly & was nicely presented... would definitely go back : great for a light bite or if you fancy a little bit more.
Extremely delicious and authentic food. Service was impeccable and the staff wonderfully friendly. I enjoyed my lunch so much today that I will be returning again tomorrow.

The food was fantastic but service was a bit slow. The waiting staff were very friendly and doing their best but could have definitely done with one more person helping out. As far as the menu goes, everything we had was great. Absolutely delicious and some of the best value sushi/Japanese I've had in the UK. I would definitely come back here to eat again.
Small, quiet, traditional. Great cooking. Great service. Everything I've tried so far has been delicious. My only small negative is the menu could be a little bit larger - so long as that could be achieved without compromising the cooking. I just want to try more things by these chefs! Strongly recommend, amongst the best Japanese food in Bristol.
Lovely little restaurant with friendly staff and good food. I was disappointed about the sushi sharing platter for two, however, as it only had two varieties of sushi roles which were mainly salmon for about 30 pieces. I would recommend going for individual dishes, especially the seaweed salad.
