My daughter held my granddaughters 3rd birthday party here all the kids and even the adults had a great time and the kids got to meet Peppa Pig which they all enjoyed and they got a group photo with Peppa Pig
Decent sized soft play area & prices are good for nearly 2 hours of play. The first problem I have with this place is the toilets. There's no soap available to wash hands with & no hand towels to dry hands on. Almost all of the toilet cubicles were locked up so only one or two toilets were actually in use. No toilet roll was available either. The second issue being the car park. It has serious pot holes that could do damage to your car. I don't know if the car park is the soft plays responsibility but it needs a lot of repairs done to it. The third issue is you're not allowed any food or drink brought in from the outside. All food & drink must be purchased at the cafe. As expected, the prices are astronomical. Just for a jug of diluting juice, it's £3.50. It's an absolute rip at the cafe.
Absolutely shocking the state the soft play is in. Holes everywhere in all the nets high and low! A random square piece of foam siliconed to the floor covering a large hole with metal sticking out of it. One area has nets you can climb up but told my daughter to stay off it as most of it was ripped to shreds. They obviously have not had health and safety in recently as that would not pass at all!! Nearly 10 pounds for 2 kids drinks, a cola and a coffee! The coffee stank of stale milk so could not be drank. The toilets were disgusting, no soap and had to use my hip to hold the changing table up hinges were ruined while changing my daughter as was too disgusting to change her on the floor. None of the electric toys in the baby area worked and nearly every climbing part of the soft play which should have foam on it, didn't so when climbing steps or stairs you were standing right on the wood. Will not be returning. Shocking they are allowing kids to play in there.
I've just had a party booked today and I'm not going to lie it was absolutely shocking. There was absolutely no privacy at all, random children kept coming up to the table and trying to help themselves to our juice. For £130 I would have expected a proper kids meal not 2 nuggets half a packet of crisps and a quarter sandwich which the bread was disgustingly stale, as if they were prepared day before and left out. It was extremely bare looking nothing like a party setting at all, no effort. Would have been better off coming in as a normal customer. Couldn't hear the music, serious lack of hospitality. Complete waste of money, robbery. The price it costs to make a cheap meal like that and diluten juice, I have no idea where my money went.
Ok soft play, could be worse could be better however I can’t phathom why they charge the same price for a 1 year old as they do a 10 year old seems unfair to me and a bit bizarre, should be cheaper for kids aged 1-3 then the over 4’s dearer. Weird pricing and all it’s doing is putting off a lot of potential customers/business who go elsewhere, it’s a dear game as it is never mind with multiple kids different ages
Booked the soft play back in January for my sons 6th birthday which was today. With going to 3 previous parties here my son really wanted one too, I booked the party over the phone and was told it was a £50 deposit and £10 per child that attends. I was told on the phone there was nothing I needed to do and they would call nearer the time to finalise numbers and go over everything. I had a call 3 days before the party to ask how many were attending. I wasnt told what food would be served, whether my son would get a mascot, if any children had allergies or if I needed to bring a cake or not. Turned up to the party and had brought our own cake after asking other mums and confirming with a member of staff that I needed to - which was no problem. Once in our area, a member of staff explained how everything would run once guests were there. Basically play for a bit, get food, do the cake and play some more before home time. I was asked what mascot we had chosen - we hadn't as it had never been mentioned to me before. Kids played and then the food came out, a paper bag was brought out with half a ham sandwich, capri sun, jaffcake bar and crisps. Was a surprise to all of us as at all the previous parties there had been hot food served. And for the amount I was paying I didn't feel that what was given was worth the cost. I asked to speak to the manager about this and they firstly said I was given an incorrect price and that the price would be £17 per child on the new price list but to honor the old one at £11. I was then told that the amount of food they had been given was substantial for the amount and that they stopped doing the hot food. A member of staff then joined the manager to show me the old price list that showed the lowest price used to be £11 and I would have been shown this when I booked the party - yet I wasnt as I booked the party over the phone. We agreed on £11 each child even though I had been quoted £10 and continued with the party, I was also told that anything left over in the bags we could keep as it was food I had paid for. When the kids had finished eating all the bags were taken away even though there was food left in them. Mentioned to staff as it was opposite to what the manager had said and they did deal with this appropriately by giving me the bags back plus some to make up for the inconvenience. It then went down hill again when my mum came to pay. They were quoting £178 on top of the £50 I had paid which for 19 children worked out at £11.89 per child. £38 more than I was quoted. The manager then said the lowest they could charge was now £12??? Per child after previously saying £11 and his reasoning because they would be out of pocket! Finally agreed on £11 even though we were still over paying from what we were quoted. In all horrendous communication, terrible organisation once there and extremely over priced for what you get. Wouldnt recommend Yo-Yos to anyone.
We had birthday party for our sons 4th birthday. Everything was shocking, food was given to kids but then was everything clear out when still was 1hr until party finishes, we had to order food from bar!! And when I asked why they cleared tables they told me that they getting ready for next party!!!! We still had 1hr left and kids were super hungry as they didnt even touch some of the food, there was no music at all, also staff member had argument and was extremely rude to us! I emailed company with details what happen on that day and they didnt even responded to me, not even sorry!!!! I think they think it is one of the biggest of plays in bathgate so they can do “whatever” they like. I think they should invest some money in people training and how to host kids party…
Our sons went to a private 7th birthday party there. What a place - amazing! The boys didn't want to leave. Would highly recommend
Turned up today at 3.53 opened the doors to find 3 young girls staring at me I asked if the softplay was still open. The three girls just paused and looked at one and other smiling and said its not closed it was really quite horrible. I asked them if I would be the only person showing if so i could go somewhere else. They seemed to be standing at the door as if they where ready to go home they said no we are still open but the next session does not start till 4 thats all they had to say from the beginning and it would have cut out the awkwardness. so I took my son back outside and waited till 4 o clock. I went in at 4 o clock because I used to come alot the man recognised me and said I have not seen uz for a while me and my little boy but I have been on several different occasions where I have checked on Google to see if its open and its always closed when I get there. The man explained to me when schools are back they are closed Mon tue wed they have put that on Facebook I would also like to add not everyone has Facebook. Anyway I paid and went in grabbed a wee menu to get me and my son a wee snack I headed to the cafe to order a small bowl of chips and cheese for me and my little boy. The 2 girls just looked at me and blankly and said the kitchen is closed. I said OK and just grabbed some juice for me and my wee one. About 15 mins later I went to go grab a coffee the young girl who said she was new said the coffee machine was still on made me a mocha it turns out the coffee machine had already been cleaned and the coffee tasted like chemicals just told them I was leaving it and a women gave me a refund for my coffee I just left the place at this point. I did plan on booking my sons party here but that will not be happening I won't be back this place was always good to go to. Staff where always pleasant very disappointed
Great place for the kids to run around in. Bouncy castle, smaller kids section and large bit for the older ones.
