I rarely write a bad review but am so disappointed that I seem to have wasted £168.00 with Yorkshire Drains and have had to go to a reputable company to get the problem sorted. Top dollar charges for rock bottom service.

Although the work appears to have been carrie out well, the final cost was a lot more than expected. On the call back, I was told that the cost would be £45 per half hour. I was asked if anyone was home and I said my wife was. Upon getting home, I found out she'd signed a for to agree to a cost of £70 (before VAT I hasten to add) per half hour (£32.50 labour & £37.50 jetting). As per previous review, tread with caution. That said, the drain is now unblocked and in full working order albeit with an awful smell that should, according to the engineer, be going in a few days.

Please avoid this company like the plague. One of the worst businesses I have ever dealt with and the customer service is appalling. Came to clear my drains, charged a ridiculous amount only for them to spew out in to my garden 2 days later. Have been trying to call and have emailed to discuss it but they are very good at avoiding the situation. Please be aware that they turn up at your house for the call out fee and then if they need to use any equipment to do the job they charge you £40 per half an hour to use their equipment in the back of their van. Absolute rip off and shockingly bad company. Use at your own peril
