Bought a £4.3k car for my daughter. They lied about it; saying carpets were wet due to them washing it. Got it home; more dampness as the week progressed and found mould & electrical faults. The car leaks! Day 8 & Travelled over 100 miles to return the car as they wouldn’t communicate over the phone. Their lines ring out and they text back 1 liners & don’t bother emailing as they ignore it On arrival James, the boss didn’t inspect the car, continued playing with his phone, and gave us advice that wasn’t lawful or correct. He did say; it’s just a small leak and they’d fix it. But refused to acknowledge it wasn’t; we’d lost trust in the car and them & he must refund or exchange. Top and bottom of this is our credit card company are getting us the money back. If you have to buy from these people secretly record them lying to you about the car, photograph everything before you buy and after, and even though we didn’t do this; get it in writing that they will honour your consumer rights, because they haven’t got a clue.nDon’t use this company.
Put a deposit down on a car about a month ago, didn’t receive it. On website says cars are in a condition to sell but mine had a handbrake problem and a tyre pressure sensor issues. Was always me chasing up for the car and updates and got very vague responses each time. The only good thing was that I got deposit back. Would not recommend.
Put bluntly in my opinion these guys are con artists. My experience mirrors the below reviews. I bought a car that on the surface seemed in good condition. 3 days later it broken down on me. In order to get a refund I was set back about £700, when asked they informed me that they would not cover any costs that were a result of them selling me a car that broke down 3 days later. I would avoid at all costs, in my opinion how they are operating is close to criminal.
It has now been 1 year and 7 months since I bought a 2010 Vauxhall Astra, which at first seemed great as it only had 60k miles and I bought it for 4k. Within two weeks of owning the car, the head gasket went and because they don’t recover cars for you when they break, I had to pay to get it recovered to them which is a 50+mile journey. They received the car and then had the car back for three weeks, so within 5 weeks of owning the car they had it longer than I did. During the repair period they were hard to get hold of and because the car was within its 1 month warranty they fixed it free which I can’t complain about of course, but fast forward now to September of last year, just a year over owning the car, the turbo fully bust costing me a grand to fix and I asked two different garages which said the turbo looked like it’s been on last life for a while so probably before I even bought it. Now fast forward again to this month the car now needs more expensive major work, a rocker cover gasket and rocker cover head needs to be replaced, so to round this all up the cars has had around 4k worth of work done to car and only 8k miles driven since I’ve owned it. The car has been nothing but problems and first thought maybe it’s just my luck but seeing all these other bad reviews makes me think it’s not me it’s them. The cars they sell are obviously crap and mechanically useless, I would love to to get my money back but from what I’ve seen reading other reviews, they are difficult people so never bothered and would 100% not recommend as the cars are crapnPs. There was also a Renault Clio there at the time which had every light on dashboard going so straight away thought nope but was fooled into buying the Astra I now own.
Absolutely appalling bought a car from here in October the car sales man was rushing and gave no care or consideration to me as a buyer. The car has completely fallen to pieces and has cost me a further 2,000 in repairs. They’re not even registered with the motor ombudsman. Very sketchy would definitely AVOID buying a vehicle from this place at all costs.
