AVOID!!!!!I Corsa 1.4 !!!!warn everyone about this company, don't buy cars from them!!! Yesterday the car arrived with a huge oil leak. I was assured that the car was in good working order, but the car inspection was probably fake. MOTThey don't want to give back the deposit now. After everything, I started reading the comments. they did something to me, they promised that someone would call me, so far nothing, no text messages or phone calls they reply.police informed.All sort it,just had a chat and my refund on my way.Thank you
Let’s talk about ghost motors! Terrible sales company at the least they sell cars with known damage but brush it off with a botch job of a repair they call it and sell it on its way. My Girlfriend got a car of them in February this year Peugeot 107 which had gearbox issues. They mentioned the issues and said it had been repaired 4 months later the gearbox breaks on the motorway and the car would not go into gear whatsoever. Luckily breakdown cover was right behind her and managed to take her and the car home. The next day she phoned Ghost motors to claim on the warranty she had from them when she bought the car. They had first refused the warranty as they said there was no paperwork of warranty at all! A couple days later after numerous phone calls and proof of purchase was shown they agreed there was warranty and happily picked the car up. Ghost motors said the repairs should take a week nothing more. What a lie that was they kept her car from mid July to start of August. I believe this is a cheap trick of sorts to stop the warranty claim again if anything else happened to the car where she would then have to pay for it. After numerous and numerous calls asking about the car and it being pushed back to they specialist they sent the car two hasn’t been working on the car looking at the gps in the car it shows that the car was never moved from Ghost motors. The day finally arrived where they said the car is ready for pickup! We get down there and get the car but one of the mechanics said the ball joint is loose on the drivers right side this was not a problem before taking the car in to ghost motors. They said they can’t fix it and she would have to take it to a different mechanic where they would pay only £100 to the repair and she had to pay the remaining cost so she did and the car was back up and running for a few months. Until the gearbox broke down again on a ring road she luckily managed to get the car to go into gear and drive it home. As the car was still working she went and got her MOT done which later failed due to corrosion all under the car I have attached photos to show the corrosion and holes underneath the car this is something that can not happen in nearly a year of having the car! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT BUY FROM GHOST MOTORS GO TO SOMEWHERE THATS TRUST WORTHY AND SAFE!!!!!!!
Did initially have two issues with the car. The first was fixed by Ghost, the second was paid for by Ghost motors, via a card refund, as it was more convenient for me to pay a local garage.nGreat customer service throughout, very pleasant lads to deal with. We are ultimately very happy with the car.
Bought a 2013 mini cooper s beginning of June.nPositives:nNo pressure, pleasant sales person.nAgreed to repaint bonnet which had a lot of stone chips and paint flaking.nPrevious MOT advisories addressed.nAgreed dates and times were met when doing the work and picking up the car.nOverall a good car.nNegatives:nWas told car prep and service is done after sale – car wasn’t serviced.nCar had fresh MOT but front tyre had sidewall bulge only spotted it when I stopped at service station to fill up on way back from picking car up.nWas told there were 2 keys but on day of collection was told there was only 1 and when I asked the saleperson he said he hadn’t said there were 2 he did as it was a specific question I asked and he gave me the key from the folder stating it wasn’t charged because it was the spare key. I phoned twice about the key and was told they would look into it and call me back as others have said lived up to their name and never got back to me.nRepaint of bonnet is disappointing, the paintwork itself is great it is just they didn’t prep it correctly before repainting so you can see the stone chip dents in bright sunshine had been raining when I collected car and I didn’t spot the dents.nThe paintwork in other places needed work which I think should have been pointed out in the advert don’t get me wrong I wasn’t expecting an 11 year old car to be mint.nnI have replaced two tyres another had a slow puncture and had it fully serviced by a mini specialist which I would have done even if they had serviced it and the car runs perfectly.nI have taken 3 stars off 1 for the key and not returning my calls if they had just given me the other key I could have overlooked the other 2, 1 for the tyre dangerous as far as I am concerned and shouldn’t have passed an MOT and 1 for not prepping the bonnet properly before it was painted.nnWould I buy from Ghost Motors again, possibly if it was a car I really wanted but I would record and play back what was agreed before paying the deposit and properly check it on collection.
Excellent experience from initial enquiry to purchase and delivery of the car. The whole team was professional and courteous, extremely helpful.nThe car was delivered the same day as purchase approximately 200miles and was exactly as described extremely clean all documents in order and ready to go.nI would highly recommend Ghost Motors LTD to anyone and would not hesitate to purchase from them again
