Incredible Japanese Sushi restaurant right in the heart of Newcastle. Large restaurant space with conveyor service for prepared dishes. Also a la carte options available. Dishes are priced at various levels to suit all tastes and budgets. Close to Eldon Square bus station and ten minute walk from Newcastle Central train station.
Strawberry cheesecake and chocolate cake in the photo. Super friendly staff. Bar seating area is quite nice and food was served quickly and tasted delicious. Takoyaki and popcorn prawns were my favourite. Menu is limited though
I have thoroughly enjoyed the 3 times I've been so far. The staff are amazing, friendly and knowledgeable. The only reason I haven't given 5 stars is the somewhat limited menu. Definitely worth visiting!
I really enjoy coming to this Yo! Sushi. It has a nice atmosphere and the staff are great and attentive. The food is really good especially the mochi and squid and served pretty quickly. The new system since Covid19 is handy too. Hoping that the salmon fried rice will be making a comeback soon.

We ordered 3 sushi, they were stale, slimy and by the taste they were made the day prior.
Such an enjoyable experience. YO! has adapted creatively to the challenges of covid-19 with at table ordering which means that food is prepared especially for you and conveyed your table on the belt using a traffic light system. My 12 year old companion was totally enthralled. I'll be back after lockdown for sure.
Fairly priced sushi and amazing unlimited miso soup for 5 quid. Cannot say it is the best sushi I had but was good quality food. Would totally visit again and recommend it to everyone.
