This Yo is mainly at the bar, only 3 seated tables in the restaurant, so not ideal if a table is preferred. Food was standard for Yo, however portion sizes are noticeably smaller since Covid. Most disappointing thing is that their priorities are on takeaway orders and this created long food delays as well as no one helping with cutlery and other needs
It wasn't the first time I came to the restaurant, but it was the first time I was served poorly, and the employee had a more incorrect attitude. I ordered the bowl of noodles, regular size, on the menu it doesn’t say the size of their regular size, so like a normal person I assume that the regular size would be a single dose, but no it happens to be a desert size bowl. I question the staff if that was my noodles bowl and he said it was, I double checked if that was correct and the “manager” I assume, barely face me and told it was correct and that they don’t do the menus or the price’s after I comment that £5,80 was a bit much for a dessert size bowl that the company call regular. Plus the quality of the bowl wasn’t even that good taste. It’s sad this situation don’t think I’m coming back, only ordered the bowl expecting to be a normal regular size and I was deceived.
Honestly I’ve been a fan of Yo Sushi for many years however I don’t believe I’ve found one that has a better staff and food than the one in High Wycombe. Truly wonderful staff always at your disposal for any needs you may have. Great music and atmosphere, it’s a place where one can come to enjoy a family lunch or even bring someone for a nice dinner date. A specific worker T I believe that’s he’s name, handsome guy with dreadlocks was truly exceptional. Remarkable guy in general, and also props to the manager for maintaining such a good work environment where the workers actually enjoy working.
Discovering this Yo! Restaurant was a delight – the food is fantastic, and the staff are incredibly friendly. Don't miss out on joining the Yo! Club for discounts and competitions if it's your first visit; just be ready to indulge in a plethora of delicious dishes! However, it's worth noting that the space is a bit snug. We brought a pushchair, and it felt like it occupied too much space, occasionally inconveniencing others. The same goes for using a high chair – a minor inconvenience in an otherwise enjoyable experience.

We arrived at this restaurant with my family at 8:15 in the evening and we were turned away because they say it was closed yet. The website said it closes at 9:30 and it’s a Saturday. Didn’t even bother to come outside to talk to us. just spoke to us through the window to say no we can’t come in both staff members, male and female should their heads I think because we were black and the only people inside were white, still eating and being served as we started walking away, they allowed two white people to come in if you’re black, please don’t go here because I’m sure the stuff will look at you and probably lie that its closed
