The service here is rubbish. Even when the restaurant is nearly empty it takes ages to get a drink or order food. The food is generally pretty good but this evening the rice was not cooked well and very mushy. The serving staff are more interested in talking to each other or taking it in turns to go outside on a break. Tonight at 7:30 on a Friday night which should be peak hours they are pulling out the cupboards under the counters to clean behind with a broom. I'm not sure it's that hygienic halfway through service and didn't do anything to improve our experience.

I mean, it's ok. The sushi tastes ok. The karaage is dry and a big disappointment. Also the edamame is cold.

*** UPDATE *** new manager - things have vastly improved. How the ex manager ever got promoted to a newer branch is beyond belief becos he didn't do HW any favours! ORIGINAL REVIEW; I am a regular. I Love the food and concept and most of the staff BUT I'm FURIOUS right now!!! Firstly the phone is PERMANENTLY on answering machine! I've rung several times leaving messages about a group booking - no response - how does any restaurant get away with NEVER answering the phone (and the irony is they say "we value bullsh*t" Secondly, while you are eating - look upwards... Check out the DISGUSTINGLY filthy industrial style decorative metal "cages" above the conveyor belt dripping with fluff and dust (even after the last refurbishment) I keep telling the staff who keep shrugging it off to head office... damned shame really. Who the hell is NOT managing this place!?!
