This is my favourite pub/restaurant in the Leicester area! The food is always amazing and was a reasonable price. For starters, we ordered the garlic sharing loaf, which was a weekly special. For main course, we ordered the “Korean Chicken Duo”, “British Chicken and Ham Hock Pie” and the “Smothered Chicken”. Also came here for Sunday roast once and it was the best I’ve ever had! Our server, Lottie, was great. Will definitely come again!
Visited today for the first time for a lunchtime meal.A really nice pub for either a meal or just a drink. The food was excellent with ample portions and reasonably priced. The service was also excellent we were made to feel very welcome by Cherise who served our table. She could not have been more friendly, helpful and professional in serving us. We will definitely be returning. Thanks for a really enjoyable lunchtime meal. Five stars all the way.
Want a pie go here, good filling with nice puff pastry. Prefer a smoother mash was a little dry but still enjoyed it. Always love the atmosphere
I came in the week to a work reunion. I noticed how friendly and accommodating the staff were. My first visit. I took my elderly mother their today. She is wheelchair bound. We wanted to sit in the garden due to nice recent weather. Threw the main entrance to back Garden there is a small step to the Garden. One of the members of staff offered to help with lifting the chair. That was very nice , however we decided to go round outside. My only critic is a ramp should be on Garden access. Despite that on entry or departure the staff members acknowledged us and acted friendly and welcoming. So a simple small adjustment could make a big difference. Notice to senior management!
As usual a friendly welcome from Kate and her team. Food is amazing! You must try the new menu. Lottie gave us perfect service today and Oscar the dog got a big fuss made of him. This is his favourite pub too. They are so dog friendly and that is a big thing for us who have fur-babies. We shall definitely be going back soon. thank you guys 10/10 as always!
