Decent Italian food. I’m honest with my reviews; it’s not fine dining, or the very best quality food, but you’ll get really decent tasty Italian pasta dishes when you can’t be bothered to cook, locally. So you can’t complain.nService is a little amateur, but the cooking is clearly decent.nBusy little local pub with a side restaurant area serving Italian food and pub options.
We had a group booking of 10 family members celebrating our daughter's birthday, and we genuinely thought it'll be a lively place to have a meal with the entire family and celebrate a beautiful day. However, I don't think I have ever had as bad a service in any restaurant like this one! We weren't greeted at the door, found our seats ourselves, took over 2p minutes for anyone to even acknowledge us and that too because I called someone over to take orders...the kids food came AFTER the adults food, and that too as adult portions when we only orderd kids portions, massive waste of food, my linguine bowl was cracked right to the middle, we kept asking bar tender for condiments for menus for tissues....It was a joke!!! No apologies at any point!! After over £100 down we will never ever go there again!!
Had a wonderful experience here today. I Chose the 2 courses for £16 we were seated in the window with a nice view of old great Glen. We both had the turkey crown, which was well portioned and really very tasty. For pud, I had the pistachio cheesecake, which was honestly out of this world. Great selection of drinks are available. There's a promising area being constructed out the back in the large carpark that looks to be a new outdoor dining area. Absolutely loved it there today and I'll be back to try the Italian menu, maybe one of the authentic pizzas. Thanks for the great service guys and keep it up.
We ate at the Italian greyhound on Friday, I have to say the service was really lovely when we arrived, they where fast and attentive.nThe food was alright, I must say the risotto that two of us had was under seasoned and pretty bland, i hardly ever add seasoning to dishes but did on this occasion.nnThe starters and the mains where really lovely however, especially the creme brulee
We had the wake of a close family member at the Italian Greyhound the staff are excellant the food was way above the 5 * it was Outstanding. Thank for providing the upstairs room as a quiet are some families and children. The large parking area to the rear next the the accommodation which was very clean abd comfortable.nnThank you all once again
