Lovely relaxing family place. Nice food/staff Farm animals all looked after so well....sheep having feet done which tickled me
This is a lovely little cafe, surrounded by fields. It feels just like the middle of the countryside, even though it is 3 minutes from the middle of Halewood. The food is excellent, if a little pricey. I would especially recommend the breakfast! There are also a wide range of cakes. The staff are kind and friendly and the service is great. They will also take telephone orders so your food is ready when you arrive.
Lovely place, lovely staff, great food and drink. Been getting busier and busier, so when there in April 19 they were doing some building work. Not sure what the plan is but hopefully more spacious. They have chickens not for petting and a donkey can stroke if by the fence. The shop was fenced off with building work today
A farm shop with the added benefit of a coffee barn. The choice of food in the barn is simple and limited but very good. Soup with maybe a coffee and cake to follow I really like the scones or a simple brunch would be the ideal choice, I think. The decor in the barn is slightly shabby-chic but can be a little more shabby than chic with some very sad, tatty menus when I was last there. Nevertheless, this is definitely the best place in the area for a relaxing break. The staff are friendly and helpful but it can get busy, especially at lunch times. And, for kids of all ages, there's always the chance to see the animals.
It was very good when it opened. Not a lot has changed. Quality food. Fairly high prices but reasonable for the food. However, the crockery has seen better days. Lots of chips in the plates and cups. Stained mugs and cups... with a little updating and renewing of worn out items it will be restored to its former glory.
My favourite cafe in the south end - breakfasts are fantastic any time of day. Great location on the farm, outside seating in summer and cosy wood burning stove inside for the winter months. Very reasonable prices and generous portions!
Friendly staff. Not cheap but you get what you pay for... fresh, good quality produce cooked well and very tasty. Local products, some from on site e.g. Eggs from the Chickens that you can watch from your seat! See the animals, watch the trains go past, buy from the farm shop next door. It's always a pleasure.
I popped in here as part of a group and ordered tea, toast & jam. The tea was expensive £2.30! and a bit weak for my taste and I don't even like it particularly strong. The toast was good: two, inch-thick, slices of nice bread with a good layer of real butter £2. The jam was good but not quite enough for two slices.
Nice food and drink. Reasonably priced and good quality. Comfortable and nicely decorated. Could do with more table spaces and seating, can be a long wait at lunchtime or weekend breakfast time.
Visited today, nice setting and roomy relaxed atmosphere unfortunately as a Vegan coming for a snack there was nothing at all for me to eat. No cakes, biscuits, sandwiches or even soya milk for a cup of tea,had to settle for a fruit tea.Not very encouraging!
