I've never used a taxi company like this, where every driver is an absolute legend. Really friendly bunch of people, always smiling and up for a chat if you are. Very reliable firm too. Use them a lot and never had any issues

Tried to scam us of an £50 because we were a bit drunk! someone in the car when it stopped opened the door and threw up, none on the car or in the car. Taxi driver refused to give me my phone back which he snatched from my hand until i paid the £50. Threatend to call the police and i then encouraged him to but then obviously he wouldn’t. Finally he said it doesn’t matter. Then rang up the company to complain and the women was completely rude and didn’t listen to anything i had to say.

More often that not Yellow Star let you down, so when you are in a time critical situation, and you have a choice, always go elsewhere. I was catching a train that only came hourly so booked a cab an hour before I needed to go. 18 mins passed the time I had booked, in the meantime if been on the phone to check where it was and then finally the car turned up and the driver had only been told by the operater 5 mins before. Needless to say I missed the train and had to wait an hour. Luckily the taxi driver was very apologetic - it wasn’t actually his fault. Another time we prebooked and pre paid for a ‘to’ and ‘from’ journey for a wedding we attended in the middle of no-where. At midnight a taxi from the same company arrived but it was for other people that had only just booked that evening. The exact same taxi driver turned up 25 mins later to pick us up. We had already paid money for the journey so wouldn’t of been able to book with another company and so they took advantage of this by squeezing in another booking before ours. Appalling service.

Always had a very good service from Yellow star. The drivers are friendly, and the staff who answer the calls are polite. Like the fact you get a text letting you know when the taxi is waiting with the car reg too. Never had a bad experience with them to be honest!

Thank you to Alan and the controller on new years eve, sammys on the mend now, he's got a few war wounds, the meds are knocking him out at the moment giving him a chance to heal, fingers crossed in the next week he will be fully recovered thank you Alan for getting us to the vets and back hope u both have a great new year, never had a problem with yellowstar in 8 years
