Nice and quite spacious bakery in a town. Here you can find a variety of baked goods and the Portuguese imported products department, but we tried their Pastel de Nara. Felt more like room temperatured, crispy outside with light sweet, creamy and a bit eggy cream.Food: 4/5
New Review: From five stars to one star. There is one male staff who basically overcharged my family's orders at least three times, and I have no plan to come back to this bakery any more. He took an advantage of people "taking away" and charged extra for ingredients or foods that were neither asked nor included. I asked a receipt every time, and that's how I found out. Nice try to collect dollars here and there, and you eventually lose a loyal customer. Congratulations. --------- I have tried almost all sandwiches on this restaurant's menu and I am still craving its sandwiches. They were all outstanding with very generous portion, and my special request every time of each order was accommodated no matter what it was. All bread this restaurant has are amazing and very kind in price. Pastries, I was in rush tasting them and missed taking pictures, are sweet and good. I am very glad that this restaurant is within my driving distance of half-an-hour and that it is always available for easy access!
Delicious Portuguese desserts and other foods. There’s a little market section offering authentic products, including cheese, meats and condiments. Their breads and pastries are incredible. Wheelchair accessibility: No stairs, narrow but sufficient. For isn’t automatic so someone needs to assist.
Went in today and bought a dozen custard tarts. They were not fresh! The custard was dry and the pastry was soggy! So disappointing! Worst custard tarts I have ever had! 12 tarts for $24 and they are going in the garbage. I tried calling the bakery to speak to a manager and it went to a voicemail that hasn’t been initiated so can’t even leave a message. Do not recommend! Won’t go back. Not like they used to be! It’s worth the trip to Toronto to get fresh tarts!
Not only am I local realtor and investor who frequents this spot almost daily for some pastel de nata and a variety of amazing treats for myself and clients...I'm also very Portuguese from a very Portuguese family lol! So trust me when i say, this is the spot! Definitely check it out if you're in Bradford or even if you're just driving through.
THE BEST Portuguese tarts around! They are my personal favourites!! I have taken them to various functions, and anyone I have shared them with has also fallen in love with them! Sooooo good! Food: 5/5
I ordered an Oreo cake for my wifes birthday from Caldense bakery. The cake was amazing and so fresh! Even days later it was still great. I would also like to highlight that there hours are great!Food: 5/5

Portuguese style bakery, with tons of selection for pastries and desserts. Small but decent selection of European grocery items. Do a little carb loading and stick around for a double espresso..
I’m so happy I found this bakery , I got red velvet cake and cherry cheese cake, strawberry cheese cake , Oreo cake and some other pastries . The red velvet was not the best that’s why I gave 4 stars but the cheese cake ! Baby that cheese cake took me back to my childhood when my mother use to get me a cheese cake cupcake at this Italian bakery called commisso and now I’ll forever be a customer
