It's the same traditional, rustic pub it was when I first went there 6 years ago. It's comfortable, homely and the staff are always friendly. The jukebox is great and now up to date with new music releases. This place is comfortable to go to either with friends or on your own. Upstairs there are plenty of little pockets and booths if you just want a quiet drink, and also bigger tables with benches to spread out.

Only been once so far but absolutely loved it! Very quirky little place, all wonky and old. Friendly staff and the local lager which is made with champagne yeast or something like that was very nice! Definitely worth a visit!

Historic pub with decent beer. Not much more to say. Tends to be frequented by those whose musical tastes lean towards rock.

Great atmosphere, lovely staff and very welcoming. The pub is a gorgeous old building nicely decorated. I love going there.

Always a warm welcome in this pub. Great selection of Kentish beers and ciders, good jukebox with a wide selection to cater to most tastes. Easy to engage in conversation with strangers or just sit, enjoy your beer & read your paper.
