Quality of goods was great with a variety to match. Service was polite and friendly. However I have been conned. I had been charged £3 for 100g of fizzy strawberry £1 and TWO POUNDS for ONE hairbo gummy snake when these typically retail for 39p a pop. It’s a small sum of money but the principal stands in a defeating manner.

Great little sweet shop. Dangerous little place of temptation. Staff are friendly and offer good recommendations.
This evening 24/01/2023, I bought chocolates from this shop to send to Indiafamily. the shops serving area is closely packed. As I was choosing different kind of chocolates they are packed and the bill was charged 43.10£.when I came home and packing I noticed i literally got cheated as I have only 23£worth of chocolates. So this shop isn’t trustworthy. They’ll rob you!!
We had a giggle with the staff in this lovely shop today! So friendly, charming, and a great selection of sweets and chocolates- a must visit sweetshop! We’re planning on bringing the kids down from Leeds for another visit :-
I have been going to the Ye olde sweet shop for over 10 years. I think the customer service is very mediocre, I’ve been going there for 10 years and don’t acknowledge me as a loyal returning customer. The chap who runs the shop should smile more, maybe say to customer’s ‘How are you today’. I think the prices of some of the sweets I want are too high and I can now buy what I want off Amazon.
