Been having these sweets since childhood I used to go to the melton road one and since it closed I was confused to where it was then I found it people said it’s not the same taste but they are wrong it’s the original royal mithai taste ! Can’t go wrong simply the best ! Prices have gone up over the years but can’t blame it inflation!Food: 5/5
I just popped into to get chevdo but they only had pre-packed and not their own. However, I decided to buy some of their large vegetable samosas and some mithai instead. The samosas were nice, a very flaky, crunchy pastry and the filling wasn't bad, just not to my taste. The mithai was good. I had hoped for a larger variety but I purchased a few pieces that are traditional favourites and some on the recommendation of the helpful assistant. The mithai tasted fresh and creamy just as it should.
Huge selection of biscuits and confectionery. Reasonably priced. All items i purchased were fresh and very well made. Good central location. Bright and clean premises.
Beware! No service delivery made depite having ordered and had arranged a home delivery which was confirmed over the phone and no one came to deliver. I rang up the royal sweet to find out where my delivery was time and time again and was advised "the driver was on the way," there was no driver and he never came and in the end I had no delivery or food which I ordered for which I required for an auspicious event. APPALLING!! I do not recommend! What a sham!
Excellent selection of sweets to chose from. Very clean shop. Customer service was very good. Waiting in the queue was not long at all as the staff seem to be serving fast and not lazing about. Food was as expected and tasty as well as well presented.Food: 5/5
Every time we come Leicester we come to this branch to take Indian sweets home for the family. The mithai is always fresh and the service is always impeccable. The staff are friendly and nothing is to much trouble for them. Wish they opened a branch near ManchesterFood: 5/5
Popped in there today for a coffee and a couple of samosas, nice friendly service and the coffee and samosas were spot on
Can be an awesome place. Like every other desi place, the things are OK the peoples are not. Variety and prices good, the sales person management sucks.Food: 3/5
Not given properly it was all joint on one another the silver foil they said it's finish . It doesn't look nice stack on each other
