Have you even visited Bolton if you don’t visit the Ye Olde Pastie Shoppe No wind or rain could stop me being there early this morning to make sure that I got some before they sold out I even bought a Wimberry pie for the first time and it delicious, I’ll be back for another very soon!!!
A very down to earth experience, had to queue for 5 minutes because only 2 in shop at once. Very friendly. The lady who served me even went out back to get me a Vanilla Slice, well worth it. Well worth a visit, I only went because of Danny Malin @RateMyTakeAway. Delicious I did also buy an Eccles Cake all for £3.60!!! Well worth it. I will visit again. NB: They close tomorrow for 2 weeks re-open 02/08.
Food staff and service is always spot on . My son has autism and owner Marie always has time for him . Means alot to us even when she's busy .Great family business and a bolton landmark it's that good
Excellent and good value for money when other pastie shops in town are charging too much for less quality pasties and pies. Staff lovely
I have been visiting this family run bakery for over 3 decades. The shop baked mini pasties and whist pies are heavenly. They are so good in fact that my family and I have bought batches of them for most of our family celebrations. I moved to Cumbria in 2020 but when I returned to Bolton to visit family, the first stop I made was to the Pastie Shoppe to buy some frozen pasties and pies to take home. Their deserts are lovely too, all made fresh on site. I hope this lovely little shop continues to thrive for many years to come.
Got myself a cheese & onion pasty, nice. The dry cake was a big let down unfortunately didn’t really go down well with my tea.
Poor ladies run off their feet in here. Super clean and all covid restrictions adhered to. Pasties are melt in your mouth to die for as always I takes me own ketchup. Also the potato cakes are heavenly and too good to share so I hide them away from my children
Called for frozen mini pasties for party. Had to get 2 hot ones to eat now. Gorgeous.
By far the best pastie shop in England possibly the UK I am not joking the place absolutely reeks of history and beautifully made pasties and fresh cakes and bread you can't beat it all hand made with quality craftsmanship seriously give 10 stars of I could
