Visited for the first time. What a gem of a Pub situated a short distance from the Town down a little side street. I was pleasantly surprised on arrival, the building is kept in great clean condition from the outside. Very welcoming landlord great selection of cask ales plus the usual beers / lagers, Great cobs for sale also. The rear little beer garden is a little sun trap and very pleasant. The toilets and bar areas are very clean. I will most definitely be visiting again. I highly recommend this place if you like Heritage buildings.
Great real ale pub, that has loads of old charm and character. Good selection of ales, however never updates the 'real ale finder' app so never sure what's on the pumps. In saying that, walked into Titanic Plum Porter last night ,one of my favorite ales and Oakham Citra . The bar food is a choice of massive cobs see photos. I would definitely recommend this place.
Me & my mom went to have something to eat 4 year ago after covid went up to the bar to order food they'd closed the kitchen & wasn't doing food anymore which was disappointing cuz we was looking forward to it & we haven't been back it's a lovely pub aswellFood: 3/5
Great Black Country Pub. Popped in for an afternoon pint and a cob. The beer is really well kept. They serve pizza and cobs so by no means a gastro pub but who wants that anyway? Locals were really pleased to have us in there and very friendly. Great place, glad it's here.Food: 4/5
A wednesbury gem. Not much in the way of food hence the low score but the service is always excellent and clearly one of the most atmospheric pubs in the town Great choice of beers and dead cheap, a regular place for me.Food: 3/5
Love this place! It's full of character and characters. Friendly staff and locals and good weekend entertainment. Lovely home-made cobs and your usual bar snacks for sale. If you have never been, it's well worth a visit! You will not be disappointed.Service: 5/5
When I was about 25 I used to drink a lot around the wednesbury area and I have been to this pub on a number of occasions. A good old fashioned pub. Serves a good selection of beers and has hot tasty home cooking. You can have a great night out with the family or friends.

Only very recently found out about this little gem in Wednesbury Very welcoming and serves some very good real ales Probably one on the black country's best hidden secrets Very much worth a visit for a beer and a crusty cob. Kid-friendliness: Kids are very welcome
