Awful. I asked for an egg benedict. Then was told they had no poached eggs? Yet they had scrambled amd fried eggs? Could they not cook one? Like how do they store eggs? Surley they dont store poached eggs in a freezer until there ordered? When my scrambled egg benedict came. It didn't look appealing at all. Didn't even have any rocket with it. I couldn't even eat it. As the hollandaise sauce overpowered the little scrambled egg that I had on the muffin. They didn't even allow me to have a refund ether as I ordered it on the weatherspoons app. 0 out of 10.
Great venue with friendly staff within walking distance of all local amenities
Very friendly staff, but if you wanted to go for food you would have to be quick for a table as it's extremely busy in there. Nice place though if you know where you're going in there. Clean and tidy despite how busy it was.
We've visited today and two of us were happy with our food but the 3rd wasnt. She ordered a well done steak and chips with salad but got a bloody steak , 20 chips at most and no salad. Tried speaking with the blonde lady walking round and she said we had ordered basic steak which we didnt and there was nothing wrong with it not very professional or friendly and £35 that won't be spent in here again !

It has its good and bad points! Some of the staff can be friendly and I don’t find that in many Wetherspoons so fair play. On the other hand if you don’t wanna make my cocktail don’t leave me hanging on 9 minutes after the order where I’m having to come and ask for it. Just say it’s late and give me a refund. Still waiting for my refund on those two chocolate caramel brownies you didn’t have.
Large spacious pub with the typical JDW menu. Good service with friendly professional staff. We enjoyed our breakfast and value for money definitely 10 out of 10. One criticism, our meals were just about warm enough.
Mediocre and unsatisfactory I had ordered a grilled halloumi burger with chips. What came out was 4 halloumi fries shoved on to a bun and they fell out when I went to eat them. When my friend spoke to the waiter and said "she asked for grilled halloumi" they said with a dumbstruck expression " This is just how the halloumi burger is served". No , there's a big difference between grilled halloumi and halloumi fries. Food still tasted alright though, hence three stars.
Rude staff. They bully you as they think are better than you. Refuse Access even though still open. Avoid pub at all cost plenty pubs near by better service go golden cross open same hours and welcoming.
Great staff in a Weatherspoon's that is looking a bit tired, the carpet has been replaced however now the pub just needs a lick of paint to brighten the place up. The pub has a great selection of real ales and now with a suggestion box to ask customers to choose "your favorite" ale. Food prices are excellent, and the quality and service is quick.
