Nice dog friendly pub situated in the town centre. Lovely stop off for a pint while looking around the shops, beach & seafront. Friendly staff, comfortable seating & food looked nice what was being brought out.

Teignmouth’s oldest pub offers an appetising menu of home cooked food ranging from snacks to more substantial main courses. You can eat in the charming atmospheric low-beamed interior or, weather permitting, in the outdoor courtyard overlooking Teignmouth’s Back Beach. Our ‘go to’ meal stop when we visit the town.
Lovely old traditional pub. Clean toilets, friendly staff and delicious food. Would def recommend.
We found this gem of a pub today. Originally we were just going to look inside but once kn there decided to stop for a drink and then decided to eat…. It really was a lovely and nothing was too much for the staff. Our little dog liked the choice of doggie biscuits while we ate our lovely burgers. Sadly we go home tomorrow but in 2025 we are in the area for a month ….. guess where we will be first opportunity…. Yes The Jolly Sailor will be first place …
