Food was hot, well presented and value for money. The staff were chatty and friendly. It was immaculate all over, even the coffee machines were gleaming.
I still like this place, its nearly always busy, with normally a good atmosphere. The staff are nice and friendly. The food used to be really good, but sadly its gone downhill. Meals turn up either wrong, or with items missing or even cold. Best thing I can say on that front is, that its cheap... and you never know, you might be lucky! Still room for improvement!
This is a lovely pub. Very comfortable with lots of space. A nice balcony area for the warmer days. We went on a very cold day and the place was warm and cosy. Staff were helpful and friendly, the food came out quickly and piping hot. Self service hot drinks area was clean and tidy. Great place to go
Unbeatable value. Plenty of room. Food promptly delivered with app ordering. Bottomless hot drinks. I had the standard eight ounce sirloin. It was, frankly, pretty tough, but it tasted good, and you get a deal on it on Steak Club days. As with other Wetherspoons, with a stroke of genius, they do not annoy diners with background music. Recommended for budget dining. No need to book.
Queue at bar was rather lengthy. Could do with a few more bar staff. Waitress service was good and food was average
