Wonderful cosy little village pub in the most picturesque little village. Fantastic food and lovely friendly staff who are always happy to offer advice on locals events and attractions. Dog friendly too. Definitely worth a visit.

Visited year after year on our holidays. Food is excellent, Sunday dinners are beautiful with LOTS of everything. Dog friendly, pool table in the back room for children (accompanied by adult). A great old pub atmosphere with helpful staff . Highly recommended.

A great meal and lovely atmosphere, dog friendly and the staff were most accommaditing, the kids meals were probably the best I've seen anywhere and quality food not factory produced or microwaved. The adult meals were ample but again good home cooked fresh food with a real salad garnish not just a solitary lettuce leaf. We will definitely come back. A big thanks to the staff working this evening (27/05/27)

Slow waiter service dirty tables sticky. unable to cope when it's busy not so bad when it's quiet they can just about manage rough and ready pub get what you pay for I guess

Great little pub full of charm and history. Good food and ales bonus on the night we had live music!
